Nope. But the government sets CAFE standards which regulates the minimum MPG that a manufacturers have to maintain for their fleet of cars.Are the American car manufacturers being required to ONLY produce EVs?
I would recommend a Hybrid first.Although I cannot own one, I would love to have an electric car! I just don't have any place to plug it in!
