She was arrested a month ago. This isn't a new story. I posted a link to a story in the New York Times.

The woman hasn't been arrested for passing secrets, she's been arrested for not disclosing that she had been in contact with Chinese spies to the State Department. There is no accusation that she passed information to them just that she failed to disclose they had contacted her.

So you have a fairly low level of security clearance taking phone calls from Chinese spies, but no evidence security was compromised, and she was arrested for it nearly a month ago.

How big a story is this supposed to be?
