French Socialist Tax Czar Who Wanted to Implement 75% Wealth Tax had Secret Swiss Account

April 3, 2013
By Daniel Greenfield

Socialists are people who want to tax a second party for the good of a third party while the first party keeps its Euros in a Swiss bank account.

President Hollande had just regained some support with the successful expedition into Mali, but is now scrambling for his political life again after the latest revelations about his budget minister.

As budget minister, Jerome Cahuzac advocated an extended version of Hollande’s 75% tax on the rich. The tax was shot down by the courts. But Cahuzac had his own private Swiss bank account with around a million bucks in it.

...

This shouldn’t have come as too much of a surprise. Cahuzac with using illegal cleaning workers back in 2007.

President Hollande is down to 27% support and has been on television pleading for a third chance from the French people. It’s an embarrassing appearance for an embarrassing little man.

...

At this rate, the knock out won’t take too long.

Don't feel bad, we got some goofy czars here that need...:splat:

By thinking they know what 'socialist' means, many people mistake their imagination for reality.

This guy is dishonest.

This guy proves nothing about the French Socialist Party.

This guy proves nothing about socialism.

Anyone looking at anything the same way all the time is going to be wrong most of the time, though, of course there is always the 'broken clock' effect.

I am not a 'socialist'.

I am an eclectic.

Good put the SOB in prison where he and all the other tax haven criminals belong.

I don't know if what he did is prosecutable, but it certainly is hypocritical.

He swore in front of the National Assembly that he's never had Swiss accounts. Guess he just forget about the small change, something over €500,000.00. Probably saved it from lunch money, tucked it away and it slipped his mind.

It seems he did finally admit to being a liar, though. It is very embarrassing for President Hollande, whose own personal record and affairs are without blemish and who persanally asked this guy if there were anything to the stories.

Just goes to show you can't always trust people who enter government from private enterprise.

Jerome Cahuzac is facing a sentence of 5 years in prison if convicted. The article appeared in Le Monde yesterday, so hard to dispute. Hollande is a clown and presently enjoys a 27% approval rating. The French have nothing but regret in electing this idiot.

"]French president's big pledge was to crack down on tax evasion and financial corruption, but it has been happening under his nose

You are seeing the pledge in action . What point are you trying to make?
Do you really believe matters are any different in your Satanic States ?
Probably many times worse .
