Georgia republicans just made water an illegal substance

The new law was not approved by the normal process for amending the state constitution.

End of story
You don't have to amend the constitution, to write a law in Pennsylvania. And the law they wrote was for a group of voters outside the definition of "absentee voter"

Think of it this way. If the Pennsylvania constitution specifies the rights of citizens of Pennsylvania. That doesn't stop the legislature from granting rights to non-citizens. They don't have to put them into the constitution to do so.

Another idiot thread by the Left. There is absolutely nothing in the linked article saying that the GOP has made water an illegal substance.
In that case why else is it illegal to offer some to someone standing for hours in a long line??

Good God you can't even compose a sentence. Not being allowed to give someone a drink in line (not sure the reasons for that) is a FAR CRY from making water an "illegal substance" your specious claim.

The Georgia law also made it illegal to give snacks to somebody standing on line.
Under their definition of "gifts" so would handing out umbrellas in the rain or sun.

That law you just mentioned makes water illegal to pass out at polling stations otherwise it would not be a crime to offer it to someone. As the law is written you can offer milk or juice but apparently not water. Don't know why they specified water.

I'm thinking, how different the election would have been under the new law. It would be a crime to supply anybody standing in line with a face mask.

Think about it.

Don't be stupid. They gave "examples" of water and snacks, they prohibited the giving out of any "gifts" to people waiting on line.

Well folks you can now go to jail in Georgia if you offer people waiting in a long line to vote a little water and a snack thanks to republicans in that state. Other republican controlled states may follow suit..Georgia governor signs sweeping election regulations into law. There are even restrictions on snacks...

My guess is that it was because some Democrat hack activist was passing out free bottles of water and making suggestions about who to vote for. There's always more to the story when leftists get their panties in a bunch.

It wouldn't bother me much if Republicans put air in a bag and charged you idiot Democrats to breathe.
Your guess? Prove it.

I've already proven that it's happened before, ya moron...

Why do you have an issue with this?

You have to amend the constitution to amend the constitution, and that's what that law tries to do.

I have no tolerance for fools or idiots like you.

What a crock of shit.

There are requirements to have a voting machine per X number of residents in a County. Explain these long lines in the past in Dimwinger run counties. Why have you dodged that issue?

Who runs Fulton County, GA? The answer, mostly black screw-up Democrats.

They've made a mess of Atlanta schools years ago.

Wrong. The PA Constitution requires such a change to voting by the Legislature to then be put to a vote by the people. They never put it to the vote of the people, thus it violates the PA Constitution.
