As part of the deal, Hall will get five years' probation. He will also have to pay a $5,000 (£4,000) fine, testify against other defendants in the case, complete 200 hours of community service and write a letter of apology to Georgia voters. He is also banned from future election administration-related activities.

On the face of it this is not good news for trump. There are like 100 other rats in the conspiracy who are likely to squeal as well. Mr Hall will feel he got a good deal out of his involvement with the convicted fraudster and sex offender.

By the time trump takes the stand he might be the last of the conspirators to be found guilty.

He doesn't have any evidence to give and really wasn't involved in anyhting.

Omg, he tried to find voter fraud! :aargh:

That's gotta be a crime!

Seriously that's what he's in trouble for. :rolleyes-41:

"He spent hours inside a restricted area of the election office when voting systems were breached, which was connected to efforts by pro-Trump conspiracy theorists to find voter fraud. "
