The funny part about the WC is it was basically being played for by 'Old Germany' which of course is where hundreds of thousands of fleeing Nazis went to live. That of course would be Argentina. The best German beer and food is made in Argentina the 'old school' way. Argentina IS Germany in the early forties.
Of course the social dynamic of 'New Germany', that being the Germany on the map is awash with underlying currents of racism. These people are after all Teutons.
