Obamacare is a total assault against an individual's irrefutable right to his freedom of choice. In essence, it makes him and his physician a slave to the omnipotent government which also FORCES him to pay for the care of others.

The only message you’re getting out is your comprehensive ignorance of the provisions of the ACA in particular and Constitutional case law in general, as well as the ignorance of other conservatives who agree with you.

As with most on the right, your opposition to the ACA is purely partisan, having nothing to do with the merits of the Act.

Seems the "Act" has more demerits than merits.

What's an "irrefutable right" ? Seems to me Obamacare is REFUTING your right to choose what type of insurance you want, whether you want insurance and where you get your insurance... doesn't seem very "irrefutable" to me.

Why am I forced to pay for maternity coverage? :dunno:

'cause obviously you're not smart enough to determine whether you need maternity coverage or not and thus need the Wise Rulers in Washington to tell you what you need. :smiliehug:

Don't argue with 'em .. after all he's the self appointed legal counsel to the Internet, something that would make rational individuals hang their heads in shame but apparently he's proud of it.

Remind me again what exactly was so "wrong" about the health care status quo in this country.

Gub'mint Worshipper Rule#1: If you see something the state hasn't screwed up yet do everything in your power to make it FUBAR.

.. On the bright side, at least the statists have goals.

Now about that health care insurance, did you know ... that I've been assured that , "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan"?

It has so many merits we had to "pass it before we could see what is in it" huh?

Yes, ignorance.

Why do I have to pay for prostate health problems:

Over 50% of men in their 60s and as many as 90% in their 70s or older have symptoms of an enlarged prostate (BPH).

• Each year over 230,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and about 30,000 will die of it.

• Prostatitis is an issue for men of all ages and affects 35% of men aged 50 and older

I was being sarcastic. I am perfectly happy to pay for other's health concerns as long as mine are covered as well. That's how it should be. I don't want to live in a dog eat dog world. I lived and worked in the EU for 4 years, in a country with excellent universal health care. Though during those 4 years, I only went to the doctor a few times for annual check ups and flu/cold complications, I was not at all concerned to be paying taxes to suppport universal health care. It works and it works well, and if anything serious occurs, you are covered. I pity the mean spirited, stingy, self-centered bastards, vicious people who think other people must suffer and die if they don't have money to pay for a serious illness. You all deserve to go to hell for eternity.
