A park building owned by the county decided to stop flying the traitorous Confederate flag on an outside flagpole. Because of that a guy who owned many of the pieces in the museum, took it upon himself to erase a pretty integral part of that history... SupposedlyA couple pro-slavery flags taken down. A small win. But in Trump's Amerika, we need to take what we can get.Got to applaud a win for the 21st century![]()
How is it a win?
It's a civil war museum and a local politician took it upon herself to erase a pretty integral part of that history. Those actions amount to fascism
What difference does it make how they're displayed?Do they fly them atop a flagpole to honor them? Are Nazi flags displayed in museums?... Yes they are!
So, your problem is with the pole, not the flag on display...
Got it
Well, in the steel mill where I work, in our maintenance department, we have a couple of black electricians. Like everyone else, they work 12 hour days. And probably make more money than you ever will.Hey Luddy, if slavery really affected blacks, how come they don't get up early and work all day?
Who's the dumbass? So, your problem is with the pole, not the flag on display...
Got it
^ no, dumbass![]()
The Confederate flag doesn't do either, moron. You forget that the American flag flew over slavery for 70 years.A museum is really the only place it belongs. We cannot forget what we did and what we allowed to be done. It can never be forgiven, there is no amount of money that would be retribution but more than anything else, we cannot let the reality of slavery in the US be forgotten or demeaned.
