People have been stealing from each other as long as there have been people. People steal in good economic times and bad. People steal. Period.

And suicide is not evil. How can it be when there are no victims other than yourself? If a person in excruciating pain wants to end his own suffering, how is that evil? What's evil is forcing that person to live with the daily torture of pain because of your control issues.

I don't care about the murder rate in other countries. We are different from those other countries and unless you want to completely change our governmental system to a more invasive and controlling style like those other countries then the comparison is useless.

And the definition of intentional homicide differs from country to country. For example assisted suicide is considered murder in the US but not in many other countries.
