I don't get to listen to him much due to a busy schedule, but I try to listen to him as much as i can. This is an example of why:

The problem with Beck's argument is that throughout America history, there was only one "race" doing the lynchings and only one race being "lynched!

KKK lynched Blacks and Whites.
Beck has talked about it and it's not an argument. It's recorded History.

I don't see why you say he's so smart. Race didn't become the determinant of slavery until it got to the Americas. Historically it was the result of war, debt, criminality or religion. If he's got any smarts, it's that he knows that he' can get paid big bucks because people will listen to what they want to hear without thinking about it. I prefer to call that 'taking advantage of ignorance', not smarts.

A person can make a lot of money selling psychic readings, or homeopathic remedies, or telling stories to rubes about the forces of evil at work in their lives. But I would not be able to sleep at night.
