Global Warming Explained so even a BRAIN DEAD LIBERAL should understand it!

Pretty much how the Global Warming turned Climate Change BS came to be.

Curious...

Is anyone aware that we had 2 ice ages. The second one happened in the late 1700's and was a mini ice age....but since then, the globe has been warming.....Just as it did after the first ice age.

Now, I am curious.....what were humans doing to the environment back in the 1700's that caused it to start to warm up? That being said, what were lesser intelligent animals doing to the atmosphere that helped the world recover from the first ice age?

Nothing Global Warming is natural. But that doesnt mean we as humans should throw our hands in the air like any changes to our behavior, technology and innovation that would reduce the impact should be shunned.

Ooooooorrrr you can just say the glass is half full and yell at everyone to do nothing...thats cool too :eusa_shifty:

Damn straight it should be shunned if it entails drastic changes to global economics.

Everyone agrees there should not be drastic changes made to global econ thats in the nightmares of conservatives and they believe their dreams are real. They're not.

But what good will the money saved be if the quality of life is drastically reduced?

The warming is going to entail drastic changes to global economics. Period. Whether we begin now to take steps to ameliorate the effect or not. The changes are already in the pipe, and we cannot stop those. The continued addition of man created GHGs will simply excaberate an already precarious situation. Should we trigger the emission of CO2 and CH4 from the Arctic, then any of our actions from that point on are pretty much irrelevant as far as the weather and climate are concerned.

idiot. you and your "period"
as if you smug arrogance means anything to normal people?

your ilk has been droning on about that for years

where are these "drastic changes to global economics"?

Well, lying is a good way to start off! List all the Societies that agree! Should be easy as YOU KNOW they all do. And it seems that many of the western nations PAY GRANTS to these universities for this study, now why would scientist STOP the money from coming in?

You sir, are a horse's ass, but not just any horse's ass, the very dumbest of horse's ass!

Well, Mr. Kochsucker, your article is as fraudulent as they come. Here is the abstract from it;

Science or Science Fiction? Professionals? Discursive Construction of Climate Change

Abstract

This paper examines the framings and identity work associated with professionals’ discursive construction of climate change science, their legitimation of themselves as experts on ‘the truth’, and their attitudes towards regulatory measures. Drawing from survey responses of 1077 professional engineers and geoscientists, we reconstruct their framings of the issue and knowledge claims to position themselves within their organizational and their professional institutions. In understanding the struggle over what constitutes and legitimizes expertise, we make apparent the heterogeneity of claims, legitimation strategies, and use of emotionality and metaphor. By linking notions of the science or science fiction of climate change to the assessment of the adequacy of global and local policies and of potential organizational responses, we contribute to the understanding of ‘defensive institutional work’ by professionals within petroleum companies, related industries, government regulators, and their professional association

A journal of business and economics, not a scientific journal at all. You are a foolish liar.

good one stupid

and all but a handful of the earth's countries are EXEMPT from ANY carbon reduction standards

what kind of idiot is suprprised scientists from those countries would "conclude" the other countries need costly regulations on their industry?

Links, asshole. Not knowthing flap yap from an obvious ignoramous.

Svante Arrhenius (1859-1927) was a Swedish scientist that was the first to claim in 1896 that fossil fuel combustion may eventually result in enhanced global warming. He proposed a relation between atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations and temperature. He found that the average surface temperature of the earth is about 15oC because of the infrared absorption capacity of water vapor and carbon dioxide. This is called the natural greenhouse effect.

Read more: History of the greenhouse effect and global warming

What Grant was he awarded before he came up with his theory?

Well, did you see the word you posted in your sentence MAY?

It was a theory, now please show where there is PROOF CONCLUSIVE of the theory (as I have a link to over 31,000 SCIENTISTS that, each one is MORE QUALIFIED than you on this subject, that disagree)..... More BRAIN DEAD liberals, that only see words that agree with their THEORY, and not the question!

Arrhenius observed that burning fossil fuel emits CO2. He was the first to theorize that it could eventually cause a warming effect.

Therefore your little diddie is just that, a little diddie.

it's pretty simple stupid arrogant left-wing nutjob

where are these "drastic changes" that are "already in the pipe"?

where are; or were; people living that they cant now because of rising seas?
what are these drastic changes and where are they happening?

There have been five known ice ages in the Earth's history, with the Earth experiencing the Quaternary Ice Age during the present time. Within ice ages, there exist periods of more severe glacial conditions and more temperate referred to as glacial periods and interglacial periods, respectively. The Earth is currently in an interglacial period of the Quaternary Ice Age, with the last glacial period of the Quaternary having ended approximately 10,000 years ago

nice list leftard; then why were global warming scientists caught red-handed lying and cherry-picking data to come to the "conclusion' they did?

I would respond to you, but I know you're now mooching off of my tax dollars at your "job" and I don't want to waste the tax payers hard earned money so I will say....get back to work moocher!

This is funny so the Govt had Global Warming grants BEFORE scientists came up with the theory of Global Warming....Brilliant. Fucka timeline

The other funny thing is, scientist were talking about the Greenhouse effect when I was in elementary school.

40 years ago. And almost every prediction I heard in class? Has come to be now.

And yet you can't provide a single printed theory because they never made any. All they did was toss out junk science and if any parts seemed realistic they kept it and all their failures were just forgotten.

Say we change all .3%... How much of a difference do you think it will have? .3% difference in overall weather? You have to remember you dumb ignorant fuck, the other 99.7% of *change* happening is do to everything else. It's not as if the weather was sitting in a perfect state, never changing and then .3% came along and fucked it all up.... unless of course you don't believe in climate changing over time by things like Space, the sun, volcanoes, animals, the oceans, forests, fires and pretty much everything else.

See., you hate science. You're like a back woods bro science redneck who claims to know stuff like a shaman or some crazy ass chit.

Every single Scientific Society, every National Academy of Science, and every major University in the world has policy statements stating the AGW is real, and a clear and present danger.

Now what you are claiming is that all of these scientists from all of these nations and cultures are in on a gigantic conspiracy to fool the rest of us. Perhaps you should be out buying some more aluminum foil for your little hats.

Wow...look at all those science groups...based in third world countries that hope to rake in the cash if their little wet dreams come to fruition..... Who would have thunk that people with a vested (make that a HUGELY vested) interest would sell their souls for money. Who woulda thunk it?

Just imagine...you're some poor schmuck living in Tanzania, or Zimbabwe and you can have a bucketload of cash and all you have to do is sign on to this "consensus". Yep...no motivation there at all.

And before you idiots start bleating about how big oil is raping us....let me remind you that the 900 billion they made last year was for a product DELIVERED. You guys want to spend 76 TRILLION dollars (now, how many times does 900 billion go into 76 TRILLION?) and for that whopping amount of money (most of which will go to already wealthy bankers who produce nothing tangible) you can only say that hopefully you will be able to lower the global temperature by ONE FUCKING DEGREE IN 100 YEARS......maybe...

And you expect us to take you seriously....:cuckoo: You guys are simply insane.

And who is providing this "bucket load of cash" for those scientists in Tanzania and Zimbabwe? Al Gore?

Who else will change it? Bears?

If .3% isn't significant enough in your expert opinion. What % would be significant for you?

No, it's not. It is such a vanishingly small number that it is debatable that they can actually MEASURE IT. Instruments are not capable of measuring even the slightest impact that man has...the instruments aren't precise enough.... That's why they resort to computer models. GCM's can be programmed to give you any response you want.

The GCM's that the AGW mafia uses were tested and it was found that no matter WHAT numbers you punched in there was always warming coming out the other end. That is a fatal flaw that they ignored, and continue to ignore.

In other words, the only "science" you have on your side is science FICTION!

Give me a number then. Even a ballpark range. What is significant enough according to you?

Of course. These people literally have no clue what they are talking about but pretend like they know everything that is going on. It's funny to watch them make claims about scientific data as if they understand a fraction of the data they want to discredit.
