GOP Eating Its Own

Good grief, the Koch Bros (a la an assortment of PACs and political lobbyists) are sending up 4 challengers to primary Lindsay Graham into the dirt.

Tsk, tsk.....Why is the GOP eating its own? Cannibals!

This is going to require A LOT of popcorn, people.

Yet Another Challenger Jumps Into GOP Primary Against Lindsey Graham

You're not very smart are you? Graham is most likely footing the bill for a couple of them just to dilute the pool, the more challengers the more likely he will be renominated. Multiple challengers always works in the favor of the incumbent. Kind of like the commiecrats putting up a libertarian in VA to split the opposition vote.

It takes more than the letter of the alphabet to be a viable member of the GOP.

Graham ceased being one of their 'own' a long time ago.

It never ceases to amaze Me when the left fails to grasp the notion that the leftists in the GOP are not desirable and not one of 'their' own.

The GOP needs to change if America is to survive. I wish them luck.

What exactly did Graham do to become such a leftie? Really. State some facts, hard data. Graham states he is a "Reagan Republican". That used to be golden.
I posted that there are now 4 GOP contenders for Graham's seat.
That's a fact, Jack.
So why don't you reciprocate with a better argument than something besides drool on your chin?

Graham is going to finance "a couple of them"? Really? Want to divulge the source for comment or is this just your humble opinion?

Graham needs to go. We need a real conservative to take his place. And that goes for the rest of the RINO's.

Aka everyone.

The GOP really needs to give up this idea of a "true conservative" the only ones they can ever name are dead. Isnt that a nice coincidence?

Because a "true conservative" doesn't exist. Everyone goes lib or con on diff issues but you cant tell the GOP that. They believe in only Republican on everything or liberal

Need to keep you little progressive lemmings in check.

Are you denying that splitting the opposition vote improves his chances of winning the primary? Come on hero, let's see if you can be honest just one time.

Why are you quoting a term that I didn't use.

Oh that's right, it's because you liberals are as dishonest as you are ignorant.

Change Real to True or use a thesaurus: Authentic, Genuine, etc

Don't act like youre stupid just because you don't have a rebuttal. Like using "real" instead of "true" confuses you.

Or maybe it does

The GOP is not going anywhere. But keep believing that if it makes you feel good. Problem is that you are in for a rude awakening in 2014 and 2016 when the dems become a minority in both houses.

Then will you lefties continue to say "majority rules" ?
If the Tea Party keeps up this ideological purge in the GOP, they will find themselves leading a distinctly minority party. Turning a political party into an extreme ideologically driven organization will ruin that party. There just ain't enough angry white men to vote as a majority.

And there's a growing number of angry white women, black women, and brown people who are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
How well are Republicans, particularly the most zealous Conservative Republicans doing among women, Blacks and Latinos? Have you seen any polls suggesting strength in these groups?

The real question is how well Democrats are doing with those groups.

This is just another case of the right not understanding the changing face of this country's demographics. But that is a national issue.
As this election is taking place in South Carolina, it makes sense. It's pretty hard to get further to the right than South Carolina.
It's called representing your constituents.

S.C. is an anomaly and a pretty liberal state. So fail on your part.

Real conservative = Unilateral policy-making and no compromising. Gotcha'.

At least you're not ashamed to display your ignorance.

Unilateral policy, like Obamacare.

No Compromise, like Obama and Reid who refuses to negotiate with the GOP.
lonestar accuses others of not being ashamed of showing their ignorance. At the same time condemns Obama for his "Unilateral police, . . . ."
"Here, educate yourself on Obama's unilateral policy:
That said, some context: Of the 788 amendments filed, 67 came from Democrats and 721 from Republicans. (That disparity
drew jeers that Republicans were trying to slow things down. Another explanation may be that they offered so many so they could later claim—as they are now, in fact, claiming—that most of their suggestions went unheeded.) Only 197 amendments were passed in the end—36 from Democrats and 161 from Republicans. And of those 161 GOP amendments, Senate Republicans classify 29 as substantive and 132 as technical."

So much for implying republicans had no voice in ACA.
Slate examines the GOP amendments to a Senate health care bill.

Negotiate with or capitulate to the GOP?

How about compromise.
Any gop'er who even THINKS compromise is automatically labeled a RINO and thrown under the bus! Here is a thought for you: How many RINO's that were thrown under the bus ended up popping out the other side as independents or Democrats?

I believe the Republicans will be better united in the next two elections due to the gift of Obama. The gift is called Obamacare. This is what is giving many Democrats a lot of concern.
