It sounds like kids with cancer may have to delay treatment thanks to the GOP shutting down government over Obamacare.

What do they hope to achieve? The voters spoke in 2012 when they rejected Mitt Romney, the best candidate the GOP could come up with and even lost seats in the House. The American voters decided then that they would not allow the GOP to prevent poorer people from getting health insurance.

The US government shutdown could block hundreds of cancer patients, including children, from entering last-ditch clinical trials for treatment, a spokesman for the National Institutes of Health told AFP Wednesday.

That means about 200 patients will be turned away from treatment at the Clinical Center each week the shutdown persists, including about 30 children, a spokesman told AFP.

The ACA has already been brought up for a vote, passed, and signed into law, there is nothing to negotiate. Not to mention it has absolutely nothing to do with the nation paying it's bills.
