Gop trying hard to push out members

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wa...s-who-dont-support-trump-its-an-empty-threat/

Heavy handed bullshit. It is past time to blow up this two party system. The dems cheated Bernie & now the gop wants to punish people who don't back Trump?

GTFO with this nonsense

The Dems were right to push out Sanders. Sanders is not a Democrat, he was an attempted usurper. The GOP, however, needs to get their shit together and stop bowing to Trump. Otherwise, they are giving in to the usurper.
The dems didn't "push out" Sanders they outright cheated him. The man may be a nut but cheating is not the solution.

Was Sanders even a Democrat? I think he’s independent.

The first order of business after the election should be the impeachment of Reince Priebus. Kick his ass, and all of Trump's Chumps, to the curb.

I think Princess freebus was the best thing to happen to the GOP.

But the GOP has been pandering to wingnuts for a long time. And moderate Republicans kind of kept their collective mouths shut about it until you guys ended up being a minority in your own party. You need them just as much as they need you.

To hell with moderate Republicans, you brought it on yourselves, enjoy it.

Are you playing Devils Advocate or just playing stupid?

Neither. I'm asserting a fundamental truth that sometimes is forgotten. Each political party is free to operate in accordance with its own will, and for the sake of its own interests, and free to decide on its own how it will choose nominees, or the criteria for the same.

Considering the ease with which any individual can nominally gain membership in any given party, I find it entirely appropriate and prudent for parties to overtly oppose or reject individuals who seek their nomination, who are, in the party leadership's judgment, do not represent the values of the party, or do not adequately offer loyalty to the party or its values.

THEY LET HIM IN THE GAME then stepped on his neck intentionally.

They operate on their own rules. Perhaps those rules are flawed. Whatever the case, the fundamental point is that the party leadership gamed against him from the start. You may disapprove of their methods, but their right to control the process by any means they choose, is absolute. Therefore, Sanders was never "cheated."

So if the NFL decided they didn't like one team you would be fine with them exercising absolute power, aka cheating, to ensure that team lost?
If they didn't want him in the game he should not have been allowed in to begin with. They thought the Dem base would see him for the nut he is so they played nicy nice. Then when it became apparent he was a serious challenger to Hillary they put the boot to his neck.

And sadly democrats are quite OK with that. It goes to how dishonest the left truly is....then they are flabbergasted when they are told they are dishonest

Your hypothetical requires a reconstruction of the NFL into something it is not.

But, to indulge whether I would be "fine" with it (as a fan of professional football who chooses to consume the same), is a different matter from whether I would regard it as render a negative moral valuation. Would I enjoy a WWE style scripted simulation as a replacement for professional football? No, I would not. Would I find moral objection to a business making its own determination as to how to run itself? No.

They should have? Based on what objective do you draw such a conclusion? You are assuming that the party's objective is to give anyone who wants it a chance to become the party's nominee.

The left has been pandering to socialists for so long there's no longer any such thing as a moderate Democrat. Most Americans are not that far gone. You created your shit pile, enjoy wallowing in it.

It has not been a two party system for a long time. That is the actual problem.

The constitution has become a laughable joke to our politicians for a long time.

They certainly do not represent we the people. Oh, they say this or that, but do NOT represent us.

Our country is fucked up and political correctness has fucked us. IGNORANT voting demographics etc.

Here is a thought. Do you know voting was never a right? It was always suppose to be a privilege. The founders knew an ignorant voting base would be problematic. Isn't it better for our country if it is people that KNOW THE ISSUES that should vote? I think it would be better. Personally, I don't think people who are living off the government dole, should be allowed to vote. Of course, getting people on the government dole is the goal of politicians who desire to take the power from we the people. So, I am pissing in the wind with that notion.

They were slave owners though and big gigantic white racists, so whatever they ever did does not count.

The country is and always has been an "idea." For a lack of a better word.

I have no idea what point I am making, other than there is not a two party system. We, who are not "connected" and not part of the big club, will be subject to the next psycho leader that will come along. I guess that is my point.

Inclined to agree

The GOP is suffering from a self-imposed illness. They abandoned their principles, ignored and ridiculed their base, lied to their voters, cow-towed to the democrats, and hammered anyone who stepped out of line.

Donald Trump is the symptom of the disease that they inflicted on themselves. The GOP is still in the throes of the disease and in their illness, they are blaming Trump for the problems they caused.

Bush is voting for hillary clinton and they are the best of friends.

I just summed it up for all of us. They keep moving our heads left and right, while our heads should be moving up and down.

The new version of the feudal system is what are seeing. Oh, there was no such thing as a "middle class" in the old feudal system. Just to make it more clear.

Remember, it is not what we know, and it is not really who we know. It is who we blow. That is more accurate.

Clinton in fact is a moderate Democrat. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment insurance and a progressive tax system are all considered mainstream. The secret is they all have elements of socialism and the American public is pretty much either OK with that or don't really care.
