Which is why I feel so strongly about term limits. Problem is the right & the left hate the idea. And that includes a lot of posters on this board.

The solutions to our political problems is FUCKING SIMPLE.
Term limits
Public funding for national offices.
All debates to be shown only on PBS (we already pay for it)
No audience at debates
All national political ads can only be aired on PBS.

And don't tell me that is unattainable. Many ads on television have been banned. And if a few amendments are necessary to make this happen, so be it.



We all sit around and bitch endlessly about our representation and do nothing to fix it.

They have a convention and delegates I believe from every State who pick the nominee. There are four major candidates. Certainly Gary Johnson is the favorite, I don't know if he's pretty certain or it's still wide open. But I know he's not the candidate yet

Oh I agree, those are all synonyms, and revealing of the same syndrome.

It reveals in effect the same thing the term "RINO" does --- a belief on the part of the user that the underlying goal is not the well being of the nation, or its people, or its process, but rather how many points "our team" puts up on the board against "the enemy team". That's what it reveals.
