Got my "free" home tests yesterday

I got my four government-paid home COVID tests in the mail yesterday. They have an expiration date of July 11, 2022. Given my semi-reclusive lifestyle, I wonder if I will ever use them. As I have had all three shots, I might not even realize I have COVID and just think the symptoms were another allergy attack. Though if they are accompanied by a fever, I would be concerned. I also have an oximeter to measure my lung function.

My first likely reaction, if I thought I had the virus, would be to rush to the store to stock up on groceries to last me through the quarantine, even though that would be “irresponsible” even if I wore a mask and went early in the morning when few people were in the store. I wonder how many infected people have already done something like that. I don’t have a smart phone for Uber Eats.

I have heard so much official misinformation re: covid that I distrust all of it. My entire family has had the Alpha and Omicron variants, but only one of us had a fever (omicron). Only one of us had a noticeable loss of lung function (very distressing) and that one also had a disturbing drop in BP.
The short shelf life of the tests kind of makes me believe the government had to get rid of a bunch of useless tests that they decided to make political hay out of.

These "tests", they don´t look like a pipe with a bubble on one end?

I got mine too...WTF would I ever use them for?

I can only think of one thing.

If I have to plan an air trip within the next week.

I could delay scheduling arrangements and save cost.

Other than that...what for?
Biden and his Dumbocrat administration has showed up late to the party and wasted hundreds of millions of dollars on these useless kits. My wife ordered ours and there they sit. Stupid.

If yoi6re a Republican you should send them back.
You shouldn't be participating in any socialised benefits from a Democrat government.

I got mine too.....they are giving them away like lollies...

I'll throw them away,

I want nothing that reminds me of the Covid shit tyranny .... in any way shape or form.

If you don't need them give them to someone that has symptoms or that will use them.

Yes, you are a loser. Go soak that fat head, ok?
Yeah, you parasites always have your hands out for something free that belongs to someone else. My tax dollars, my tests--I'll burn them for all the good they do. Please link me to a case where a life was saved from one of these bullshit tests. HaHaHa, I love triggering you parasites.

You don't get it, do you? Not a good bone in that shit existence of a human. Very sad.

My job requires me to take a Covid test 5-7 days after I have had contact with someone who has Covid. I am keeping them around for that eventuality.

It's a giant pain in the ass to get a Covid test at a doctor's office. And they charge $500. My daughter just got a bill for one she took at the doctor's.

The insurance is supposed to pay for it, but they bucked, and now we are having go to through the hassle of making them pay.

So, yeah. A home test kit is WAY easier than that shit.

I happen to use them and I'm not the one to be an ignorant selfish despicable low life like soooo many around here.
How many positives have you gotten, moron? None. Wasting tax dollars for nada. LMAO, you parasites would be funny if you weren't so stupid.

I haven't received my free tests in the mail yet, though I will not need them for at least 3 months from now because my wife and I just had COVID 2 weeks ago.
