With Watergate there was a REASON to investigate. There was actually some EVIDENCE (the break-in). Nobody is squirming (because there is no EVIDENCE).

It wouldn't surprise me it the investigation of the Trump campaign and the Russians went even longer because it's scope is wider.

Oh, I'm sure it'll last as long as the left can drag it out, but not because of it's scope. Because it's all you have. One thing you DON'T have, however, is EVIDENCE.

It will be over quickly, if Trump can get a loyal FBI Director approved, otherwise the FBI investigation which is the only real investigation, could last as long as the Clinton email investigation, about a year and half. However, that could be a problem since anyone with any integrity would not promise loyalty to Trump.
