Many things aren't to be revealed until the end time, so theology is an evolving revelation. What is 'holy writ' today may not be tomorrow.

So if God is eternal, an evolving theology must be a human construction.

There have always been many Christian theologies. Who is to say which is the correct one?

Actually, there are very few points of controversy. Most denominations agree on basic doctrine. What happens is that some denominations that began as single focus ministries expand that focus to the exclusion of the whole. It becomes the tail that wags the dog and often comes in conflict with churches that have a broader point of view. For example, the large "health and wealth" tv ministries.

It's about the fact that the bible is being lost, and that's due to it not meaning the same thing as it meant only 75 years ago.

Interest wanes when the flock is given permission by their church to interpret the word of the god as what suits them.

It's become like anything else you buy. You are given a 'price' and you expect it to hold true. Then you discover there is interest and carrying charges that make the price to be a lie. So it is with your Catholic church that promises 'creation', and then goes and grabs it back to leave you with just Darwin!

And then of course the disappointment turns to anger!
