the ministries I know who are most empowered to convert drug addicts and criminal gangs
into volunteers committed to God to help more people in the future than they hurt in the past,
are the bilingual outreach and minorities reaching out and making real difference and change.

The Catholic church may end up being instrumental in converting prisons and sweatshops
into schools and developing sustainable communities in Mexico and along the border
to end the scourge of trafficking.

They aren't getting media attention or credit, but the more the left collaborates
with solutions from the Christians and conservatives they reject as the enemy,
maybe we will see these solutions come out in the media instead of silenced.
