Major backfire on T rump

Donald J. Trump faced a backlash on Thursday from some of his top conservative Hispanic supporters, who said their hopes that he was softening his immigration policy had been dashed by his fiery speech Wednesday night, which they said was anti-immigrant.

Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, had shown signs in recent weeks that he was prepared to take a more conciliatory approach to immigrants who had entered the country illegally, dropping talk of a deportation force and instead speaking of treating those immigrants in a fair and humane fashion.

WOW

The Latinos woke up to Trump, good for them.

Now if we could just get the Latinos, Blacks, etc to wake up to Hillary, and the Dem party.

Might have a chance to get rid of a lot of the dead weight in DC

...and the idiocy goes on.

Trump has said nothing that should concern any legal immigrant, or the descendant of any legal immigrant. He has never said anything negative about legal immigrants or anyone else legally in the country.

All Trump has "threatened" to do is to obey his oath of office - that is, to enforce the existing immigration laws of the United States. Any conservative American of Hispanic extraction who is surprised or offended by Trump's reaffirmation of his intentions w/r/t illegals is an idiot.

Donald Trump now says even legal immigrants are a security threat

No more nation of immigrants: Trump plan calls for a major, long-lasting cut in legal entries

I think we are overdue for ending all immigration. A couple of centuries ago, that was one thing, but our cities are crowded, urban sprawl continues turning crop producing family farmlands into suburbs, our streets and highways are congested, forested land keeps dwindling, animal habitats continue to dwindle and the population just keeps growing and growing.
There is a finite amount of acreage upon which to live, share with animals and grow food. End immigration. I don't care if the person who wants to immigrate here is from France, Russia, China, or some crappy Middle-Eastern nation.

Immigration is a GOOD thing, generally speaking. But there is no valid principle I'm aware of that supports the notion that we should allow anyone who wants to come here to come here and stay permanently. Almost no countries in the world would even countenance such idiocy; certainly MEXICO does not! Immigration should be rationally controlled, as it was until Terrible Ted Kennedy got involved.

And to change the subject slightly, no rational country in the world grants CITIZENSHIP to people who happen to pop out of their mothers' wombs on local soil. This practice is NOT mandated by the Constitution, and is merely the meek acceptance of an INTENTIONAL MISINTERPRETATION of a couple of words in the 14th Amendment - an interpretation that could easily be voided by legislation.

As opposed to the entire democrat party who have used minorities not only as props but as tools to get votes......allowing them to destroy minority communities in order to keep them voting democrat.....50 years since minorities decided to ignore the racism and crimes committed against them by democrats and to embrace the racist democrat party in return for government hand outs.......like that you mean?
