As his administration actively works to strip insurance coverage from tens of millions of Americans fortunate enough to still have it, President Donald Trump late Monday once again urged the public not to fear the virus that has killed more than a million people across the globe because the U.S. has the "best" healthcare in the world—neglecting to mention he was provided a level of care that is systematically denied those who are unable to afford it.

Karma is a bitch. And I don’t mean the kind of personal karma that Trump may be facing in the next few weeks. I mean the karma that we are all about experience, the kind of Karma that originated in November of 1968, when we first knowingly elevated a libertarian megalomaniac to the presidency.
1968 was the pivotal year in US history. There were two different, and clearly distinct paths laid out before us. There was a new way, a Nation built on the collectivism being espoused by the counter culture and civil rights movements. And there was the old way, a return to the Jim Crow, neo-capitalist order of the first American gilded age. A nation where everyone knew their place.
We chose the latter then, and now we are seeing what 52 years of John Birch society brand, Jim Crow Militant libertarianIsm did to the USA. It should be plainly obvious for all to see now. There is no fixing this US system. It must be torn down, and built on that foundation put forth by our hippy grandparents some 50 plus years ago.
Trump was the logical epitaph for this selfish America.

We're going to get past this. What we're seeing is the ugly, angry, sputtering last moments of a worldview that simply no longer applies.

Deaths are often difficult, and usually sad, to watch and experience. Unfortunately, this is one of those times. Not pleasant to observe, that's for sure.

Because comparing "universal" medical care for the few hundred of the ruling class, is completely analogous to trying to create a massive bureaucratic leviathan to service over 300 million.

Got-dammit are you moonbats some stoopit mofos.

There's nothing remotely "libertarian" about the current situation with medical care services, bird brain.

Yup. I'm getting it right now and so are my brother and sister. Hell we paid into it all our working lives.

This Medicare for all is bullshit. Who pays for those that have never paid into it?? The tax payer that's who.

Total nonsense and 100% fake news. President Trumps Operation Warp Speed has been working at record pace with drug developers and manufactures to bring effective C-19 therapeutics and a vaccines to every American. In addition, the Right To Try Act is another way for patients who have been diagnosed with life-threatening diseases or conditions to access certain unapproved or experimental treatments such a s Regeneron. In short, President Trump had the foresight to enact policy and law to make available the life saving therapeutics we have available today and in the coming weeks and months.

For the sake of your argument though lets stick to the three medications in question, Dexamethasone, Remdesivir and Regeneron.

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid medication that has been around for 60 years or so, its cheap and is in plentiful supply around the world. It is prescribed commonly for an array of ailments including C-19 Infection.

Remdesivir is an antiviral medication. The FDA has authorized emergency use of remdesivir in adults and children who are hospitalized with COVID-19.

Regeneron (REGN-COV2) is an antibody medication. Regeneron has progressed the REGN-COV2 research and development program at record speed and to maximize in-house manufacturing capacity. Although still in "experimental" phase, Regeneron will likely see FDA approval very soon

Yes, but they are now available under Trumps Right To Try Act. Without this even more people would be dead for all kinds of conditions.

Opposing Medicare for all is not selfish. That doesn't even make logical sense.

Trump is president. We take care of our presidents.

However, when a left-winger says "I want Medicare for all".... that left-winger is demanding that everyone else pay for the services he gets.

*THAT*.... is selfish. When you demand other people pay for everything you want.... that's selfish. That is the definition of selfish.

ROFLMFAO, if you commie MFs don't like this country, you're free to fucking leave it. The principles laid out by our founders built the greatest nation the earth has ever seen and you'll tear it down over my dead body.

No one on Medicare gets CLOSE to the treatment Trump got on our dime.
