Many of us are rational and respectful when debating the merits and need for ehalth care reform. The only idjits that need to calm down are those who do not know what they are talking about and those who think shouting makes them feel better and that equals action. It is ridiculous to think that making an ass out of yourself is equal to productivity, but hey...talk radio is about making people mad and making money.

Absolutely right! Talk radio isn't news, it's editorialism. It's each hosts personal spin and it's their way of a making a living so the more people they have listening to them the better, which means they have to keep people interested and the best way to do that is to keep them emotionally charged in some manner...anger is, typically, the easiest emotion to pull out of people...particularly when discussing politics.

You have to take radio hosts with a huge grain of salt or a very warped sense of humor. :)
