After she left the post; a subpoena was served on THE DEPARTMENT. Not on Clinton.

I was thinking she left at the end of 2013, doesn't really matter, it included material on her server which she destroyed with the full knowledge of the subpoena. The fact that the Dept of State drug their heals and lied about the availability of the requested material was irrelevant.

So, now that you have been proven wrong, you change your argument? She was not served with a subpoena until 2015, long after her server was destroyed or cleaned or whatever happened to it. There were no subpoenas issued to her or the State Department while she served that included any request, specific or general, for e-mails. Congress does not just get to rummage through the executive branch.

When she used that server for even 1 work related email it became a government server by law, she had no legal authority to destroy it. When she chose to conduct all of her State Department e-mails through that private server she immediately had an obligation to preserve those e-mails. She didn't comply with the regulations that she agreed to comply with when she took the job as Secretary of State.

Well, we don't know that she preserved them all. It took about two weeks for the admin to really say "it wasn't the video, this was planned all along for 9-11, and we screwed up."

And, I'd be very surprised if some of Hillary's emails weren't embarrassing in terms of "do we really have no other explanation."

There is nothing there because there was nothing to cover up. A bunch of radical attacked the consulate. That is a rather common occurrence in that part of the world. Whether they were worked up by the video, as many others were in that region; or planned the attack because it was close to 9/11 or because they were just bored with life in post-Gadaffi Libya, does not matter.

What Clinton is most likely hiding from public view are the policy decisions made by her leading up to the attack and the planning of the coverup that followed. It's rather obvious that the Clinton State Department went into full on "damage control" following Benghazi...in order to do that the players involved would have needed to communicate with each other. My guess is that some of that was done on what they believed would be a "private" means of communication...the email server that Clinton controlled from her own house.

No cover up. Nothing to cover up. No need to control any damage. No incident has been more investigated that this and they have found nothing.

The story that the Obama Administration floated that the attack was because of a demonstration over a YouTube video was totally untrue and they knew it. Congressional investigators were asking for all relevant information on Benghazi and Hillary Clinton hid all of the emails that dealt with Benghazi. You can't come up with a more blatant cover-up if you tried. Very few investigations into an incident have been stonewalled like this one has which is why it's still ongoing.

I know that there was no coverup. You morons take a too quick analysis by Susan Rice and, when the administration corrects, suggests there is a cover up. It is absolutely not true that anyone has determined that the video played no role in motivating some of the attackers. What fucking difference does it make why they attacked? Whether it was planned assault, a spontaneous demonstration or a combination of both does not make any difference at all. Clearly, the administration did not know of the pending attack. You want to blame the men and women in out intelligence community who risk their lives for not getting wind of this? Pretty shameful. There is no evidence that she did anything from anyone. None.

Do you think Susan Rice was the person who made up the talking points she repeated over and over on all those Sunday morning talk shows, Paddy? Are you that naive? The Obama Administration "corrected" the totally false narrative that the Obama Administration created...and they only did so when it became obvious that they'd deliberately misled the American people.

What makes this deliciously part of the RW conspiracy psychosis is that LITERALLY no conspiracy is even alleged beyond an administration refusing to admit, FOR ALL OF TWO WEEKS, it failed to find out about a planned terror attack on the anniversary of 9-11, until the facts proved no other explanation. And a political opponent was trying to make a campaign issue of that. And, LITERALLY, even if Hillary improperly deleted emails, they'd prove nothing more, or less, than that fact.
