What Clinton is most likely hiding from public view are the policy decisions made by her leading up to the attack and the planning of the coverup that followed. No. The talking points were from the CIA. The state department had been telling the white house all along that there were reports that a terrorist group took credit. I'm well aware that there were violent protests against the YouTube video at other locations, Paddy but that ISN'T what took place at Benghazi! We know without doubt that there was no protest that took place in Benghazi before the attack on the consulate. The streets were empty until the attack took place...something that people in the State Department and the White House knew almost immediately. The fact is... the Obama Administration tried their best to MAKE the Benghazi attack be about a spontaneous demonstration that turned violent because they didn't want to admit that it was a planned attack by an Al Queda affiliated group on 9/11...an attack that they were woefully unprepared for.

We don't know precisely when the WH and DOS determined that the video did not influence the attack, but sometime, possibly as last as early October, they did come to that conclusion.

We know that the WH and the State Department viewed video showing the streets around the consulate to be empty right up until the attack started within 24 hours of the murders of those 4 men. They knew at that point that it wasn't a protest that turned violent. Yet they pushed that narrative HARD for a week before enough evidence began to leak out that they could no longer do so. Hillary Clinton had the gall to meet the caskets of some of those murdered men when they were flown into Andrews Air Force base and tell the families of those men that we would get the people who made the video that had caused this to happen. She did that when she knew that the video had nothing to do with the attack.

The story that the Obama Administration floated that the attack was because of a demonstration over a YouTube video was totally untrue and they knew it. Congressional investigators were asking for all relevant information on Benghazi and Hillary Clinton hid all of the emails that dealt with Benghazi. You can't come up with a more blatant cover-up if you tried. Very few investigations into an incident have been stonewalled like this one has which is why it's still ongoing.

BS- The CIA and everyone in the world but Fox/GOP dupes still believes the video was the trigger, as it was for all the other attacks earlier that day across the ME. The growing out of a protest idea lasted a couple hours in the confusion PERIOD.

I don't think there's any question that there are things in those deleted emails that would damage her image, Paddy. You don't take the political heat that she's been taking for hiding them...and then destroying them...if nothing is there. THAT would be dumb and I don't think Hillary Clinton is dumb when it comes to politics.

There is nothing there because there was nothing to cover up. A bunch of radical attacked the consulate. That is a rather common occurrence in that part of the world. Whether they were worked up by the video, as many others were in that region; or planned the attack because it was close to 9/11 or because they were just bored with life in post-Gadaffi Libya, does not matter.

The attack itself is one thing, Paddy.

What Clinton is most likely hiding from public view are the policy decisions made by her leading up to the attack and the planning of the coverup that followed. It's rather obvious that the Clinton State Department went into full on "damage control" following Benghazi...in order to do that the players involved would have needed to communicate with each other. My guess is that some of that was done on what they believed would be a "private" means of communication...the email server that Clinton controlled from her own house.

No cover up. Nothing to cover up. No need to control any damage. No incident has been more investigated that this and they have found nothing.
