When Hillary tried to throw Powell under the bus he came out pissed about it and clarified that he told her he used a personal e-mail for NON-CLASSIFIED use because it was easier back then.

The WH itself declared they would not release some of her e-mails because they were 'SO HIGHLY CLASSIFIED THAT THEIR RELEASE WOULD SEVERELY DAMAGE OUT NATIONAL SECURITY'. She was a CIVILIAN at this time with no ACTIVE Security Clearance. She was NOT legally authorized to have that information! What do you Hillary butt-sniffers NOT understand about that?

Yes they were questioned, according to Powell. They testified under oath they did not do so. And again, Powell was pretty pissed she tried to throw him under the bus to cover her ass. set up a PRIVATE SERVER so their emails couldn't be archived and checked by govt.

Did I miss something?
Isn't there a difference between using private email such as hotmail or yahoo,
and setting up your OWN dedicated server that not even the other govt staff knew about?

I thought the FBI admitted both that it was a violation
and also that, no, they aren't going to pursue it.

And that's what baffled people. They didn't deny the level of infraction
but openly acknowledged it while still saying they weren't going to pursue it.

An example that comes to mind of what I would compare this with,
when the US issued a formal apology to Hawaii
it was openly acknowledged and admitted that the military force to seize Hawaii
from the sovereign Kingdom was wrongful, unlawful and not justified as legal.
It was under coercion abusing military force to make them surrender when they
clearly stated they did not consent. Basically there were no wrongs committed
to justify taking their land and liberty and sovereign control. it was purely by force.

But in the same statement, it was specified that Hawaii would still be
recognized as under US jurisdiction, and nothing about that status would change.

So there was both admission this was wrongful on all counts,
but stating that nothing will be pursued to address or change that.
Just an apology acknowledging this was wrong and not justified use of force.
