(in some areas, ENOUGH of them, not everywhere, guys. but if you want to make money, you have to go where the money IS.
For $1000 or so, you can set up this biz. rent the right to position a 20 ft shipping container in an area that you've done researched (canvassing) Advertise your service at the food bank, day-labor places, churches, unemployment office, plasma sales center, walmart parking lot, on craigslist, at the public library. Any place that the homeless are likely to hang out. Colleges laundromats, have signs on the side of the old mini-van (which can be your home, if need to save money)
you can get the container dropped at your spot for $400 or less. and rent it for another $120 per month. That leaves a lot of the $1000 for advertising costs. and for the little junk padlocks and the school lockers. You can put 120 of the little half size lockers, or 60 of the full-sized ones in that shipping container. It's done with a row down each side and 2 rows down the middle, center ones facing out, of course.
