Bloomberg tweets Biden is the best candidate to defeat Trump
It is pretty obvious that the Democratic nominee for 2020 will be Vice President Joe Biden. So, where does that leave Impeached President Trump, who has already tried, without success, to take Joe down through Ukraine?
We know that Joe is the Democrat Trump fears the most, and that he needs all the help he can get from Russia. But, what about his choice for Vice President? By appointing Pence to head the administration's Coronavirus effort, Trump has set the aggressively unqualified Pence up to fail or at least be in a position where Trump can say he is disappointed with Pence's performance. Dumping Pence would upset the evangelicals short term, but nothing will sway them to abandon Trump. He is their messiah, guru and chosen one.
Nationally Trump's greatest weakness is with suburban women, who despise him for his anti-women record. You know, "Grab 'em by the ....., paying off porn stars, etc., and his anti-women record on abortion.
So he needs a woman VP candidate and of the available women Kristi Noem, Governor of South Dakota stands out. She is attractive, which appeals to Trump, has a catchy name (Kristi) that would appeal to Trump and supports many of his policies, such as very little regulation and off shore drilling. To Trump, the only necessary qualification would be loyalty. So if Kristi passes that hurdle, she is in great position to be on the ticket with Trump.
