Why?Maybe there also should be a law about the maximum age difference.Well I suppose it can work out for them and they are both past the age of consent. Its more this type of thing that shocked me.I personally beleive people should at least wait until they are in their twenties to get married. That being said, if an sixteen year old gets knocked up by a seventeen year old, should they be allowed to get married?

This can only happen with the consent of a judge, that cant be right.
My wife is a generation younger than myself, so my opinion is obviously very biased and based on personal experience. However I would like to hear any arguments against people of significantly different ages getting married.
