The problem is that these historical offenses are still being used to gin up animosity. Or to justify bigotry today. And we American’s are not alone. The world is full of people who do exactly the same thing.

We as a people. Human Beings. Need to just let it go. We need to start treating each other as individuals and fellow citizens.

But those old animosity’s continue to divide us. Resentment not from what happened to us. But what happened generations ago. We need to learn to live and let live. And just mind our own business and leave everyone else the fuck alone.

It would also be cool if we as a people, human beings, would mature enough to be able to admit the truth about things. We've stopped doing that and it gets in the way of everything else. You're right...treating each other as individuals and fellow citizens is the bedrock. But other things that are (or should be) fall-off-a-log-easy are not because we're not adult enough to come to realizations that everyone else can see.

The Brits and Irish have been arguing and fighting for centuries. Which tribe of White People are the Tigers and which are the Gazelles? What started World War One? Tribal difference?

Even if you had your dream world where Whites were separated, preferably by large oceans, you would have problems. Whites who drew their heritage from one area would argue their lines were superior to Whites of another area.

When JFK was running for President people actually worried he would be taking orders from The Pope. Now of course they are furious that Elected Catholics aren’t doing what the Pope wants.

Like all small minded people you need to show your superiority over others. Instead of pointing towards your own accomplishments which seem to be you have avoided arrest, you need to make it superiority to other races. This way you are part of a superior group.

I’ve explained this before. I believe in a Divine Intelligence. Call Him God if you wish. What I have a problem with is Religion. Religions define themselves by who is excluded from God by belief. Their Religion is superior. God loves them not you because of a slight variation of faith.

Even if you got your hearts darkest desire and could with the snap of your fingers eliminate all those races you view as Inferior, the Whites who remained would be thrust into the same animosity.

Then what? Get rid of the Slavic people’s? The Latins? The Germanic?

Your pathetic ego would not rest until you had found a reason to declare everyone not of your familial bloodline to be inferior.

That is the inevitable destination of your thinking.

Look at the mess the RW is in now. Predictable outcome from idiotic actions. For decades it has been anything to establish law and order. New tougher laws. New powers to the police. If you have nothing to fear you have nothing to hide. Now all those laws. All those powers are being directed towards the RW and it is unfair. The Deep State is going after the Whites. You and your Ilk spent decades coming up with laws to use on minorities. Now it isn’t fair when those laws are used on you.

It starts in the home. And it continues through life. It is called confirmation bias.

I was raised to cal all adults Sir or Ma’am. There were only two classes. Kids. And adults. Adults regardless of race or gender were called Sir or Ma’am. My parents would not tolerate any other attitude.

When I joined the Army it was easy for me. There were no Black Soldiers. There were no Brown Soldiers. Everybody was Green.

I was taught that hatred was a sin. I was taught by the Army that hatred and anger were weapons you handed to your enemy. Do not give them the power over you.

It is a cycle of revenge. It is how we got here. A never ending cycle of revenge. It goes back to Clinton and the impeachment.

After that it became a cycle of getting them. The Democrats spent a long time trying to get revenge on Bush for Clinton. Then the Republicans wanted revenge on Obama over Bush. Each cycle gets worse. Each swing of the pendulum goes further. More extreme.

This last election I was asked to vote. Not for someone. Not for principles or core beliefs. But to stop them. I had to vote Trump to stop the Socialists. I had to vote Biden to stop the Fascists. No matter which way I cast my ballot I would be choosing a totalitarian version.

And yes. The reality is that both sides abuse the power they are entrusted with. Both sides. The only difference is the side that cheers and the side that shrieks outrage.

When Katrina wiped out New Orleans I was explaining to people that FEMA wasn’t what they thought it was.

I told them that we imagined FEMA as an army of people wearing sports shirts and Dockers with Hiking Boots. FEMA is a guy with a Satellite Phone and a Rolodex of numbers to call. To help the local emergency management folks need to be on the job.

Let’s say the locals say they need fifty ambulances with paramedics. The FEMA guy starts making calls to get the surrounding communities to send one or two each until they get the fifty.

The locals say they need a hundred wire technicians to get electricity restored. Again the call goes out and one hundred are driving in.

FEMA coordinates. They don’t really take over. They assist and advise. If the locals are screaming we need help and not giving up any information what can anyone do? It is like a Doctor trying to figure out why a baby he has never seen before is crying. Or a farmer trying to figure out what is wrong with one of his cattle. He is working blind and may well do more harm than good.

It is easy to blame your political rivals. It is easy to blame the other side. The truth is that anyone can be incompetent. It is not just a trait of this side or those guys.

It is a sign of weakness in my opinion to behave that way. As the Levy’s broke people were screaming. Demanding to know who was responsible for that. Republicans blamed Democrats. Democrats were screaming it was Republicans. Who gives a fiddlers fuck who is responsible. Fix the fucking levy and stop the water. We can figure out later what happened. Let’s fix it now.

I was happy when I heard who was trying to fix it. I knew the man. He was my Battalion commander in the 307th Engineers. He was now the Commander of the Corpse of Engineers. General Strock would see it fixed. And he plugged those holes and started to pump the water.

What shames me is this. St. Kitts is a poor island. About fifty thousand citizens. They were hit with two hurricanes. They fixed things and were back as if nothing happened in a few months. Katrina was more than a decade ago and New Orleans is still a disaster area in many parts. We never rebuilt Homestead Air Force Base after Andrew. We spend so much time and money blaming them and investigating to determine who is to blame we don’t have anything left to actually fix the damned thing.

I wrote four years ago that if Trump healed a veteran by laying hands on him the Democrats would demand that Trump be charged for practicing medicine without a license.

Today the reverse is true. The Republicans would demand those charges for Biden in that scenario.

We are on the path to totalitarianism. I can’t vote for that. I won’t vote for that.

I keep hearing that. Yet, both parties seem determined to inflict their beliefs on the other side. Texas and Florida and their insane Abortion Restrictions as one example.

So which evil do I support? The evil that decides what you can do with your business? The evil that decides what you can do with your body?

Core Americans. Tell you what. I’ll support this idea. Only Veterans are allowed to vote. They volunteered to defend the nation. To risk their lives to defend it. They stepped forward and accepted hard service to keep you safe. Only they get to vote. How about that as an idea? Isn’t willingness to sacrifice for your country the definition of a Patriot? I went the other way. It didn’t matter what evil I rejected. 44% of Biden voters said their vote was motivated by their desire to vote against Trump. I didn’t vote. I have realized that whatever evil is in will inevitably lead to the collapse of the nation. I can’t stop it. You can’t even if you never miss an election.

So I might as well sit back and break out the popcorn.

Well there is one way the nation could be saved. If you idiots on the extreme right manage to die to the last while killing the idiots on the extreme left to the last. Once you’ve managed to kill each other off we can have a rational and sane nation again.
