The cruellest twist is the refusal of federal aid to states in distress..It will bankrupt states with refular disasters. That is most of them.Losing the federal insurance scheme would also make some places uninhabitable and lead to less resiliant rebuilding.

At the heart of this is the GOP luddite attitude to climate change. It runs right thru their crazy refoms.. Its time for them to grow up and join the struggle.

We produced very little, most was provided by Defense Contractors.

I imagine FEMA is much the same with Contractors providing much of the on-site services
