We have similar issues with fossil fuels though don’t we? And nuclear energy. I do see the issues you mention, but how much is seriously unworkable and how much will be fixed over time with increased infrastructure development and research to develope greater efficiencies much like the early days of the gas enginesThe batteries are around 1000 pounds and loaded with toxic metals. Creating hundreds of millions of EV batteries will require massive mining to get the metals needed.That will create serious environmental problems and then when batteries get damaged or old they will create another environmental problem. Power grids do not have enough capacity to handle millions of EVs charging.
