As to Ashley Babitt.I did see the footage. She was the first through a breach in the hallway that led into the House chamber. That at that moment was being evacuated. You see civilians leaving the chamber. Behind her there were about 30 other rioters. In front of her 3 cops all with drawn weapons. What would you have those cops do? Allow the rioters access to the people evacuating?

Guess what. Advancing on an officer with a drawn weapon has a tendency to end badly. Especially when that officer is protecting civilians.
