That is your problem. Lots of people say all sorts of things. Anyone who thinks a 4 to 6 hour concealed weapons course is good enough is brain dead. Talk to those giving classes on how to handle mas shooting perps, you would find out how wrong you are. Just plain stupid. But you want to believe it is simple, and as a con, you always believe what you want.

Experts I have listened to would tell you that teachers with a CHL course under their belts would likely get themselves killed, and probably kill some folks who were trying to get out of dodge, and did not deserve being shot. I know, I'm totally aware of that. The admin @ my daughters HS stays strapped when they are at school as do QUALIFIED upper tier admin officials through out the district. Not random teachers. Problems or not thats not the answer.

My daughter was asked to sit in on a closed door meeting and explain the security process that took place in her school district when she was in school - supposedly thats the next step on the books for her current district after the Fl shooting. Little did I know (or anyone else) she has carry permit and a Sig P238 9mm in her purse at all times .. I brought her up around guns just like my dad did me.

Didn't even bother to go back and read your own link, the teacher didn't die and sought help. It also occurred before school started.

Also the three examples only affected the person with the firearm, no one else. And I've never said they should only need a CHL and no further training. Trigger guards are fundamental, not only does my holster have one but there is a mechanical retention system so there is no way for it to come out of the holster accidentally.

WAIT! So what you are saying is that when the occasional kook teacher gets hold of a gun they shoot themselves, thus ending the problem?
