I Don't Want to be Eaten

Is this a common fantasy of men? I mean I watched Louis CK the other night, not his series but his comedy special, and he says men have really sick perverted thoughts all day long. He said he is tired of always thinking about sick thoughts that women can't even imagine.

I think this cop needs to have his arms cut off and his teeth removed like on the walking dead.

can't say i ever ran across a man who had this fantasy.

Being a pedophile is not illegal. It's acting on your urges that lands you in jail.

It is illegal to have sex online or solicit sex online with a child.

Yup. That's the "acting on your urges."

Well, the authorities are always arresting men who have photos of child sex on their computers --- that's a standard charge. So that's relevant to the cooking and eating chats with other people, I would say.

Me either. I simply do not attract those kind of wackos and cannibals apparently.

I wonder if it's now a crime to watch movies like "Dead End" or Tx Chainsaw Massacre? Don't they involve cannibalism?

Or the Hills Have Eyes or Silence of the Lambs.

I think the difference is that the movies do not present cannibalism as a GOOD thing. Whereas that's exactly the premise of this website, apparently. The guys would write and discuss fantasies about torturing and cooking and eating women. To them, that was a good thing.

Sounds homosexual, frankly. All these males talking passionately to each other about angry torture fantasies against women? Verrrrrrry questionable re sexual identity, I'd say.

You have a point. Ed Gein set the bar pretty high in the 50's when he crossed the line from being a momma's boy to grave robbing to using body parts as a fashion statement to murder and cannibalism. According to the movie based on the Gein legend, Gein was always supplying the neighbors with venison meat even though he never went hunting.

You're right we have diverged somewhat. But it goes to the "where's the line in fantasy and protected, and a crime and illegal".

Child porn is illegal because children cannot consent to pose for pics or engage in sex with an adult, and possession of it is illegal. That's not a fantasy, that's a reality.

I guess we're about to find out! If the public or the defendant's lawyers aren't satisfied with the verdict, I would think this would be a good appeals case. It's very clear and very lurid at once.

The Internet has allowed a lot of highly murderous fantasies to be explored by men --- murdering women in bizarre ways and also political murders and war fantasies of all kinds. We all see them almost daily if we are on discussion forums. When is all this talk -- often with other people colluding in the plots or fantasies, whichever you like to say it is -- when is it fantasy and when is it crime, conspiracy or planning/plotting crime?

It is not clear to me that planning a murder, for instance, IS a crime. Maybe if you do it with other people it is, but privately? I think we have a lot of new issues we never had before because of the Internet. This cannibalism website is such a problem: a site set up for mutual discussion of grotesque crimes against named women. Well, is that a crime or not?? Wow. What a problem.

should have read the full article

wouldn't have looked so stupid

Convicted of conspiracy.

"a jury found Gilberto Valle guilty Tuesday of conspiring to kidnap and eat women. The NYPD officer was also found guilty of illegally accessing a national crime database to research his potential victims."

Gilberto Valle Guilty: 'Cannibal Cop' Convicted Of Conspiring To Kidnap And Eat Women

Thanks for the breaking news! From the site:

"Valle faces up to life in prison when he is sentenced.

Prosecutors countered that an analysis of Valle's computer found he was taking concrete steps to abduct his wife and at least five other women he knew. They said he looked up potential targets on a restricted law enforcement database, searched the Internet for how to knock someone out with chloroform, and showed up on the block of one woman after agreeing to kidnap her for $5,000 for a New Jersey man, now awaiting trial.

Valle 'left the world of fantasy and entered the world of reality,' prosecutor Hadassa Waxman said during closing arguments."

Wow. The chloroform thing is bad, also the $5000 contract. I think they do need to cage this guy up for a lot of years -------------------------- and see how many of his cohorts on the perversion website also need to be locked up.

It's pretty plainly a training ground for torture and bondage serial killers.

This situation further persuades me that this society does need to move to using real names on the Internet. People become very irresponsible indeed when they can be anonymous.

This is all just a case of cannibal bigotry. Cannibalophobes.

There is no way to stop the eventual legalization of cannibalism between consenting adults. The cops problem was in that he wasn't looking for a consenting adult.
