Syria has always denied it had chemical weapons. They denied it to Bush, they have denied it to the UN, they have denied it to everyone who ever demanded they fess up.

Now, they not only just admitted they do have chemical weapons, they are offering to remove them from their country.

Well this appears not to be a done deal.

Just seems there's no diplomatic solution. Obama is beholden to Qatar and Saudi Arabia and is intent on removing Assad.

The US, France, and the UK want a military strike on Syria to weaken Assad's military.

The Russian idea is now being turned against them by the US and its allies in a stupid, transparent and vain attempt to blame the Assad regime for the gas attack and gain UN support for a military strike.
