I really love my country....but I also acknowledge facts...

Yes, our country is simply great for many, many reasons and, all in all, I'd rather live the rest of my days within the U.S. and enjoy all that she has to offer.

However, facts are facts.....and the right wing segment of our society that blindly espouse their belief in "American exceptionalism," are simply not dealing with facts.

Consider that when it comes to healthcare we rank 37th in the world, while spending almost 3 times as much as anywhere else on the planet. Further, when it comes to life-expectancy, the US has an average of 79 years, compared to 81 in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.......compared to 82 in France, Italy, Sweden, Spain and Canada......abd compared to 83 in countries like Japan and Switzerland.

So, when we boast of our "exceptionalism," ...at least regarding our longevity....we best deal with facts
I really love my country, but when it comes to leftist spinning how much it sucks, I just believe what they tell me and never question it at all, cuz I really hate America.

that's what you would have said, if you could be honest

looks like the whiners are still whining , what else is it that they want to be given ?? Guess , I was just special , any time I needed a Doctor I got a Doctor and paid for him all on my own and I did no begging !!
going to an appointment is much different financially than having something seriously happen to you or if you contract one of them expensive diseases....there aint many "regular" folk that can just do what Seinfeld used to do....just whip out the check book....

I love the great country that this one was. It isn't that country anymore. I certainly don't love what this country has become or still becoming.

You're right ......what a great country this would be if right wingers could just get rid of:

those darkies
those gays and lesbians
those unions
those foreigners
those libs......
well in Katz's case you are right....thats what she is talking about.....

I love the great country that this one was. It isn't that country anymore. I certainly don't love what this country has become or still becoming.
unless you're 100 years old you can't make that statement honestly.

We have been watching it happen for the last 40 years, you don't need to be 100 years old.
Twenty of those last 40 years has just continually gotten worse and we have gone downhill fast.
false dilemma paranoia at it's finest.

actually it's you who is insane....as you use that word endlessly.
it fits the textbook definition sanity...

Time for your meds, duhs.

Don't give the nurse such a hard time this time! If you had cooperated to begin with, suppositories would not be the required method to administer them...
speaking from decades of experience of having thing shoved up your ass?

false dilemma paranoia at it's finest.

The duhs method of dealing with reality...

The left declared war on American culture in the 1960's. The assault on the family as the foundation structure, faith as the cornerstone of community, and work as the source of income have escalated since that to the present, with our culture in shambles and the left openly advocating the revocation of constitutional rights.

U.S. Healthcare Ranked Dead Last Compared To 10 Other Countries

Earlier this year, Cadillac ran a controversial TV ad that first aired during the opening ceremonies of the 2014 Winter Olympics. It was called “Poolside” and featured actor Neal McDonough extolling America’s work ethic over other countries — specifically France.

Turns out that many of those “other countries” (including France) score better than the U.S. in one key metric not included in Cadillac’s TV spot — healthcare. At least that’s according to The Commonwealth Fund in their latest report “Mirror, Mirror On The Wall — 2014 Update” (pdf here).

For this year’s survey on overall health care, The Commonwealth Fund ranked the U.S. dead last .

1. United Kingdom
2. Switzerland
3. Sweden
4. Australia
5. Germany & Netherlands (tied)
7. New Zealand & Norway (tied)
9. France
10. Canada
11. United States

It’s fairly well accepted that the U.S. is the most expensive healthcare system in the world, but many continue to falsely assume that we pay more for healthcare because we get better health (or better health outcomes). The evidence, however, clearly doesn’t support that view.

Fact is hypocritical, duhs!

You're not very good at this,

bitch please, the inference of what country he is talking about is crystal clear...
I understand that from you warped pov America's shit don't stink..
it reeks!

Again, you have the freedom to move. Granted, France won't give you citizenship the way you demand we do for illegals swarming over the southern border, but hell, with costs of about triple for basics, you'll live a swell life. You fucking leftists claim every other place in the world is so much better - so leave.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

And take your picture of Chairman Mao with you.
this is just as much my country as it is yours .
it's odd that you want any one who doesn't buy your bullshit to leave.
if this country has become as fucked up as you wish it has would it be in your best interest to move?
from all the noise you make you are fighting a lost cause.
The problem is liberals are trying to turn the rest of America into California. I had to move from there because I was always broke and overtaxed, robbed, burglarized, underpaid, overworked, and couldn't speak enough Spanish.

Careful there, your red neck is trying to show....

But you're right, we stole California from Mexico fair-n-square...
How's your Yiddish?

No we paid 15 million for California as well as all of the rest of the land in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

Yes, but in "fairness" right wingers heard from Rush that the above is a blatant lie....Ergo, it then MUST be a lie.

Greece is on your list. They can't even pay their bills.

I wonder what caused our healthcare to slide, and who established the criteria?

You're correct.....What Germany couldn't do to Greece during WWII, they've been able to accomplish through the IMF and other banks.

Heard that Germany wants a couple of Greece's islands as down payment.....Makes even my uncle the extortionist blush a bit.

Sorry, forgot about that....and yes, that year Mexico was having a garage sale.

You're not very good at this,
what you posted is not and never will be fact it's a mythical lament about a non existent land.
you should have begun with" in a magical land .....or long long ago .....

its also one of the worst in the world if you believe that hype too....how many Americans would go to Oman or Columbia for a serious problem?.....

Read an article a while back about a guy who needed a hip replacement.
He lied in Denver and the estimated cost was about $48,000....He checked around and went to Belgium for tat same operation and, utilizing the same prosthesis as the ones used in the U.S., the bill was a bit less than $5,000......plus he vacationed there after the surgery.

But you're right, oil sheiks from Oman, and drug lords from Columbia DO come to the states for health care....and actually pay in cash.
