I Think It's Time To Force Retirement On These People

Mitch locked up again and it looks like he had another minor stroke on camera.

For several minutes yesterday he looked like he was lost. It was like watching Biden sitting there trying to form sentences. It wasn't even that. Talking? Forget about that. Everyone was waiting for him to pass out, yet these government handlers (nurses) stand next to them allowing them to stand there like vegetables. Who's really running Washington? None of our elected leaders are anymore.

Geesus, they keep voting him in.

Particularly in leadership roles.
Pelosi is another example right along with Mitch. Towards the end of her speaker role - like Biden, she struggled to put any two sentences together without having to pause so her brain could catch up.
And that person was Speaker of the House.

And things won’t change when the ignorant and idealistic millennials and Gen Z grow up.

Once life punches them in their immature faces, they’ll realize things are the way they are for a reason. Idealists are always so funny.

Boomers as a group destroyed the education system, so their kids and grandkids have little chance of any real resistance to being eaten by the more violent and vicious predators, both foreign and domestic. Even the GOP is now suddenly sucking on Jane Fonda's toes re foreign policy. They no longer have the morality to honor our agreements with allies than scum like Obama and Biden have.

Exactly. With the Boomers, the Gen-X'ers comprise the most politically divided classes.
It's gonna take a long time.
Every generation becomes more conservative as they age. They learn the idealists are generally full of shit. It’s easy to say we should give people all kinds of free stuff until you’re the one stuck with the bill.

Absolutely correct .. spot on!

A large portion, if not the majority, are low information voters and know more meaningless topics / hobbies than how government works, how elections work and the background of the candidates on the ballot.
Weewee on the People

Constitutionazis blindly assume that citizens have to follow their obsolete, oligarchic, and alienating civics, which empowers a few pre-owned politicians to make all the laws. The pathetic leftover power thrown as a bone to the citizens is limited to making a false and forced choice about who will make all political decisions for them.

This elitist system breeds contempt and apathy. Just because the citizens are too brainwashed to realize that the system has no right to exist if it doesn't inspire them doesn't mean it has the citizens' consent, which as in any other tyranny, is to go along with the system only because they can't do anything about it. Under the analysis of the Constitution-bangers, all fault belongs to the people for not participating in a system that makes them mere spectators.

Once any person hits 60 mandatory retirement should kick in especially in today's economy where we have a surplus of labor.
Problem is most of that labor is surplus because of it's low quality, and non-profitable performance.
That surplus could start a path of self-employment/business rather than wait for a "job" handed to them.

You're making a whole lot of assumptions which are just factually incorrect.

You're assuming the constitution and its provisions are outdated .. how? You're assuming the power is concentrated in a minority of politicians and the people have no influence on that .. how? You're assuming that citizens must comply to "the system" with no alternatives ... how? and you're placing blame on the people for not participating in "the system" where they have no power.

It's simple .. know more about how to vote, why to vote and who you're voting for instead of the football or basketball game that's coming up this weekend. Voters are stupid .. and complain about "a system" they don't understand because it's not been a relevant point for them to learn.

The Medical doctor said today that McConnel had no "mini stroke" like I thought nor did he have a TIA and that his scans were normal. Is it just old age then?

60 and over are prime workers and have a good work ethic, so I'd be against lowering the quality of the work force.

We need people working less years, not more. That hurts the nation and the economy when people work longer. And some say we need to have people working longer? They hate america

Stupid idea, older people are a great resource and can teach a lot to the next generations and are not selfish, I love my job and will do it until I no longer can, why do you think you have a right to determine someone’s happiness or right to enjoy their lives? You seem selfish and self centered and you hate America.

Know-It-All Nobodies

Where we would vote on the issues and today's out-of-touch lawmakers would be no more than law clerks drawing up the bills for us to vote on. We have real-life experience, while they are sheltered, ignorant, and conceited. For starters, anything the Supreme Court declares to be unConstitutional would go on a national referendum to let us, the people, declare whether it is unConstitutional. And legislating from Congress is as bad as legislating from the bench.

I venture to say something like 30% of Americans are too uneducated/mis-educated to vote. this is getting worse as the quality of a college education plummets as we speak

We see the street interviews on TV where people don't even know when the Revolutionary War took place or who was president during the civil war

just WOW
