I think the republican party is done

The Republican Party is dead or in its death throes. It has become a vehicle for one man to use and abuse. Its remaining members, especially what's left of the old guard, suffer from a form of battered woman's syndrome.

It is so bad that even staunch conservative Ken Buck gave the Republican Party the virtual middle finger when he vacated his office.

I've said it before. They are going to have to hit rock bottom for enough of them to open their eyes and realize they've been hoodwinked and leave the cult.
From yesterday's LA Times...

Donald Trump’s domination of last week’s primaries made it official: He has successfully routed the GOP establishment.

With tRump destroying the serving or hopeful politicians who aren't loyal enough and Lara purging the RNC of folks she deems unworthy while redirecting the money into the tRump pockets just months before the national elections there will be nothing left when they lose.

And lose they will, since they are removing the few remaining voices of sanity from the party as we speak.
The republican party is stronger than ever... its growing with working people and even lower income people dissatisfied with the democrat's mega rich party...
The democrat party use to be the party of the working American now they are an illegal immigrant and perverted tranny party... and the party of the elite super rich...
Republican's are building from the ground up pushing its garbage swampers out and attracting new voters as the dems hemorrhage voters daily with their lawfare BS.... and propping up a sick demented old man... like we are stupid enough to reelect that old fart...

It's a political cartoon.

This stuff isn't really that hard.
Its childish nonsense... Trump is already ahead of Joe and his lead is increasing not shrinking.... the republicans have a leader in the house that is not going to cower in the face of evil dems... McCarthy and McConnell are going away to be replaced with fighters not sell outs... the contrast between them and the lawfare cheater party is so obviously visible to everyone but your media and meme writers...

If you were right, which you are not, at least the Republican party would still have some people with sanity, something you Demonrats are lacking.

Then you should have nothing to worry about in November .. If the Republican party is done .. why are democrats in a tizzy about the response from constituents? It should be a no-brainer .. right?

From the Atlantic 3 years ago...

"We are living in a time of bad metaphors. Everything is fascism, or socialism; Hitler’s Germany, or Stalin’s Soviet Union. Republicans, especially, want their followers to believe that America is on the verge of a dramatic time, a moment of great conflict such as 1968—or perhaps, even worse, 1860. (The drama is the point, of course. No one ever says, “We’re living through 1955.”)

"Ironically, the GOP is indeed replicating another political party in another time, but not as the heroes they imagine themselves to be. The Republican Party has become, in form if not in content, the Communist Party of the Soviet Union of the late 1970s"

Turns out they were closer to correct than I thought.
