I wrote my Senators this morning

bundy is not a criminal.

this is essentially a civil dispute and the feds would be wise to simply take the matter to court. showing up with paramilitary forces and seizing cattle was beyond stupid and jack booted. if owes taxes, take him to court, and put a lien on his property, garnish his wages or whatever, but this matter should be handled in court, not with jack booted thugs.

if the feds had not used their jack booted approach, the militia (the legal militia despite fakey's claim that only government controlled militia are legal) would not have shown up.

I don't approve of the way the government handled it either, but at some point, after 20 years of Bundy defying court orders a reasonable use of force is not unwarranted.
