No. Real teachers are educators with lots of education and continuous, ongoing courses in new education and technical practices for education. We don't have time or inclination to become firearms experts. More guns across the nation does not equal more safety: just the opposite. The first things that will happen if teachers are armed is that someone will be shot accidently or that a student will get hold of a gun and kill or injure someone. It's a very stupid idea to arm teachers.
