The oral Torah is in the written Torah. There are laws that can't be kept without the oral Torah. The written points to the oral tradition or the rulings of the fathers or judges. Have you ever heard of the Sanhedrin? The Jewish people who keep the Torah are indeed the priests and light to the nations. As non-Jews we must love and serve them, as a wife loves and serves her husband. Does a wife sometimes criticize or have a negative opinion of what her husband is doing, when he screws up? Yes. Does she still love him? Yes, she can still love her husband, even more than her own life, while informing her husband that he is doing something wrong. The Jewish people are screwing up in Israel, but I still love Israel and the Jewish people.
