I'm Starting To Change My Mind About Trump

If you can get past trump's personality and just look at his stats he was a very good president.

WTF?

What stats? Employment? GDP? National debt?

Trump's stats are total crap due to 2020 Covid recession. And you can rightfully attribute it to that but spare us the bs about "just look at the stats".

You see these kinds of accusations against any republican challenging Democrat corruption. Trump has been correct all along. He has shown what real leadership is and democrats are driven to blind fury.
No..you don't. Please point out where and to whom..and be specific please.

Trump is a POS that never should have seen the bottom of the escalator at Trump Tower, but for the right's willing enablement. Now, you're stuck with him. And he will be a boat anchor around your necks.

You are still a democrat.

I never liked Trump. Didn't vote for him in 2016 (didn't vote for Hillary either). Only voted for him in 2020 because I didn't want socialism. Didn't want him to be president or win the nomination in 2024. I truly believed that if he won in 2024 he would be consumed and obsessed with revenge and that with all the other problems facing us, him being elected would not be best for the country. I felt we needed to get past revenge and concentrate on the things which are best for our country and I sincerely believe Trump would be unable to do that so I had no intention of voting for Trump in the primaries or in the general.

BUT

That has all changed with the DOJ's recent nonsense indictments (in addition to all of the other abuses of power by Democrats over the last six years). It has become abundantly clear that the greatest threat to our country is not inflation, it is not a looming recession, it is not our national debt, and it is not us being on the brink of WWIII. The greatest threat facing our country right now is the total and complete abuse of power and weaponization of government agencies including the DOJ, the FBI, and even the CIA by the Democrats, who also want to take away our first amendment rights, our second amendment rights, and are indoctrinating our children as the Nazi's did in Germany. These people need purging and revenge is needed to purge these anti-Americans from our government and our government agencies. We are facing the greatest threat this country has ever faced and revenge is the only way for us to turn it around. We need to begin our own Nuremberg trials of the Democrats and give them the justice they deserve.
Thank goodness idiots like you and the Trump lemmings are losing. If you were to win, we would lose our country.
The evidence presented about the danger Trump's possessing sensitive documents must be dealt with. If the investigation discovers the same with Biden he should be indicted. Pence was investigated and cleared. This shows the DOJ is not persecuting based on political party.
May you find the errors of your ways and thinking or you will be known for ever as one of Trump's American traitors. An embarrassment to our country and your family.

I never thought you could get more full of shit, but you did! You found another rock layer! So now we dig a little deeper. It is obvious you haven't read the indictment. Trump deserves all of this. He caused all of this. He deserves to spend the rest of his disgusting, narcisstic life behind bars without the option of parole.

And all you un-American mother-fuckers who support him, can go to hell!

Your instinct on Trump was correct in not voting for him, the first time. That you did not stick with it is immaterial.
The bulk of the 37 count indictment is most likely true. He has not gotten better, (in comparison or otherwise) and the power of the presidency was the most important thing in his head, not the continuity of the Constitution and rule of law or well being of the majority of Americans. His character has not improved and continues to prove, if it weren't for back character, he'd have no character at all, and just be a rich guy, doing his rich guy thing out there somewhere, and that would be fine with me, but he has no business ever setting foot in the White House again, at least not in any offical capacity.
Hillary Clinton could have faced 37 counts but they chose not to indict her, with Comey claiming that no prosecutor would prosecute her reckless and willful behavior, even when she purposely deleted 30,000 emails against a judge's order. But Trump must be prosecuted.

He is definitely insulting, at times petty and petulant toward people, but I honestly don't think he is vengeful. He never ordered his Justice Dept. to go after people like Hillary who even Comey admitted committed real crimes, never militarized any agencies against political opponents.

I don't think they fear his vengeance. I think they fear what he would do to their agenda as his is pretty much opposite of theirs in pretty much everything. And of course he would allow their corruption and malfeasance to be exposed.

But yes, if they didn't fear that, he would be a non person and none of this would be happening. They can't beat him on the issues so they have to destroy him. And they're doing their damndest.
Yes, actually, after he became president he said that we should not go after Hillary.

I must have missed those posts.

Seems like the ONLY time a Clinton is mentioned, is when you clowns bring up the name Clinton.

Like this post.
So, you think the Senate should have removed Clinton from office after his impeachment?

to the independent thinker that really just follows and really doesn't have an ounce of independent thinking. Well, on second thought it might not make sense to him/her.
I just love it when people claim I can't possibly be an independent thinker unless I think the same as them.

Cool Story, Bro.

Hillary could have been indicted 37 times but the deep state didn't indict her, they indicted Trump.

It is really pretty simple. The Republican party is highly dysfunctional. Anyone, and everyone, with two brain cells knows that the more Republicans that enter the race for president the more likely it is that Trump will win the nomination. And already, at this early point, there are almost a dozen candidates for the Republican nomination. I mean they are all fools.

Trump has a base. Yes, they are all a bunch of old white dudes, most living in the damn sticks and flying the Confederate battleflag in their front yard. They drive pick-up trucks and pack heat because of their insecurities. And bless their hearts, they are dumber than a box of damn rocks. The smartest of them all graduated from a podunk high school, many of them never even accomplished that.

So Trump wins the primary. No way in hell he can win the general election. And worse, he will drag down the rest of the ticket. Republicans lose the House, Democrats expand their majority in the Senate. Hell, Trump is the gift to Democrats that keep on giving and all because a huge swath of the Republican party is too stupid to realize how toxic the man is.

Let's be clear. While I voted for him twice, I don't like him as an individual. His behavior during Covid cost him the 2020 election and his behavior since has ensured I won't be supporting him in a primary battle.

To you Post.

1. I would agree with you, the GOP is dysfunctional. Which should scare the left white. Imagine what happens if they ever pull their collective head from the collective rear ends.
2. Trump's base is much more than what you describe in your stereotyping garbage.
3. If Trump wins the primary, it's potentially 2016 all over again. Where they said he'd never win the general.
