Is that the first time you heard that quote? It's been around for quite a while, matter of fact, LaPierre (then head of the NRA) said it a while back in response to a shooting.

And..................fwiw.....................no, a good guy with a gun isn't always going to be the one to stop a bad guy with a gun. In the case of the shooting at Gabby Gifford's rally a long time ago, a "good guy with a gun" almost shot another good guy, and the bad guy wasn't stopped with a good guy with a gun, he was tackled by people WITHOUT guns when he stopped shooting to change his high capacity magazines.

Wanna talk about the "good guy with a gun" who was the school resource officer at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas school who hid outside while the gunman slaughtered all those kids?

Trump didn't have anything to do with the faulty election.

If the 2020 election was faulty, it was because Trump won in 2016, and whichever one of the two won it was and would have been a faulty election, as both candidates were faulty. That was the cause of this (what you call) faulty election, as neither of those candidates were fit to be president in the first place.
Trump was a faulty president, yet the minions supported him in spite of all his faults. The general minions for populous reasons and the elected politicians because to them, power was apple in their eye, no matter what it took to keep it.
At his age, you cannot fix bad character and everyone should recognize bad character when they see, reject it and move on, not support it, take chances with the country and ruin a good political party in the process.
