We cannot say that "All lives matter" because that's racist....Doesn't that beat all? We cannot put everyone together a say that all people are important and should be respected.

Years ago, blacks wanted integration and play on a level playing field. It went further than that, instituting Affirmative Action skewing the level field. Now some blacks want colleges to have their own dorms...segregation???? And they want safe spaces where their feelings can't be hurt regardless if anything is negatively said. Free speech is not allowed.

We have a constitution that states we are all equal...but that is not enough?

The founding fathers wrote the abolition of slavery into the Constitution but then cut out provisions for salve owners in order to get it passed. This bastardization has given way to today's piles of crap called hate crimes. Had we simply treated every one equally and justice kept blind, the social justice and progressive movements would never have been born..

It's past time we got back to basics and got rid of progressive-ism and socialism piles of crap.. Time to return to being a nation of laws, equally applied to all citizens. Secure the dam boarders and enforce our laws.. IF you don't like our laws, don't let the door hit you on the ass when you leave..

I never said you should never use deadly force. Of course if a criminal is pointing a gun at you or reaching for it then you should do whatever it takes to defend yourself.

And since you've never been a cop, you don't know the many scenarios in which by the time a weapon is visible it's too late. You and much of the public are ignorant, operating off of old information. Even when I was a cop in the 1990's, new police use of force procedures were being implemented to authorize cops to use deadly force a step before a weapon becomes visible. That's why police say repeatedly "let me see your hands!" Because once you ignore that command and your hand disappears into your clothing, they already have every reason and authority to shoot. That's why you and the idiot public keep assuming that a cop "screwed up" when they shoot someone who turns out to be unarmed, but a use of force investigation absolves them of wrongdoing because the criteria looks into what the cop saw and reasonably anticipated.

And you should be ashamed of yourself. If you actually talked to the "4 cops" in your family, none of this would be a surprise to you. But instead, you assume the worst about their profession and though you have ample opportunity, you don't ask any of them about this and allow them to alleviate your rank ignorance you cling so tightly to.

Not all police officers are bad. In fact most aren't. But there are police officers in certain regions in this country that have heavily profile minorities. It's not mystery that you keep hearing about unarmed black people getting shot in the same states.
