Page was still an American citizen and deserves his due protection from being spied on by the government with fraudulent FISA warrants whether he was still working on the Trump campaign ornot, but a successive series of warrants were issued on the same kind of misleading requests, not just once.

J Edgar Hoover used the intel he got to blackmail politicians for decades which is why it is so thin at the top levels of management with so much individual authority; to improve ability to get dirt on people without spilling the beans.

My understanding of the FBI is that they were created as a NATIONAL bureau of investigation. They are INVESTIGATORS. They are not enforcers. They were not even supposed to carry guns. Now, not only do they carry guns, not only do they enforce, but they are involved in international matters as well. Seems like another case of government creep.
