Is NATO a Viable Military Organization?

Are you kidding? NATO readiness is at an all time low. Germany only has 244 tanks, many of which are inoperable with no spares to fix them, it has 212 fighters, bombers and attack aircraft, again poorly maintained. It has a total of 215,000 military personnel counting every swinging Richard, cooks, clerks doctors, everyone. France has 406 tanks, 269 fighters, bombers and attack aircraft and 300,000 military personnel. The UK has 209 tanks, 134 fighters, bombers and attack aircraft and 280,000 military personnel. Those the Heavy hitters of NATO. NATO has drawn down from being the well equipped and well trained force of the Cold War. The NATO countries can’t defend themselves, let alone the Ukraine. Russia has serious problems, but it’s far stronger than the European NATO members and is right on the Ukraine’s border. NATO has to move troops and vehicles hundreds of miles to get to the Ukraine.

Also, Russia and its society can stomach casualities, European societies can't.
None of those countries can put anything on the ground to stop Russia, the people would chase those governments out of office and it would throw those countries into serious internal troubles.

That's a myth.

Russians have burnt their own capital and sent millions of their citizens to death, either to the battlefield or to work.
LGBT vegan societies can't fight wars. Once coffins appear on Television (in numbers you can not ignore) those countries will be in turmoil.
No European NATO Army is structured in any way to fight any war without USA having to babysit them.
Russia can act outside itsborders militarily and independently without anyone having to babysit the Russian Army.
There are only a handfull of countries who can fight wars nowadays, deploy the Army outside the borders without internal repercussions. Russia is definately one of them.

In places like Germany issues like Gender-neutral language, climate-change, organic farming or same-sex marriage is above concepts of respect towards soldiers or patriotism in the pecking order. None of those EU countries want to fight any wars, especially not against a country like Russia, and especially not for some Ukrainians. Trust me.

No nation (including the Russians) actually wants to fight any war.

But anyone understands, that there can be things much more terrible, than a war. There is a price of peace, and there is a price of war.
And yes, there is a nice poetic answer on the question "Do the Russians want a war? "

In short: "We don't care".

"If the Russians attack Baltic states, Germany will not interfere"
What a surprise.
That's the answer on the OPs question: Is NATO a viable military organization?
- No, because nobody wants to sacrifice his own country for the "common good".
The issue lies deeper, I think. It is not about unwillingness to fight for common good (though, I dont exclude that this also takes place). It is about different understanding of what is common good.

in Russian, the word "member" (Член) has several meanings, including penis.
therefore, "NATO members" are those who suck pussy

These are now not allies but enemies of the United States. They are playing a double game, cooperating with Russia and China against the United States.
Europe took part in reducing the presence of missile defense in eastern Europe on the side of the Kremlin.
The Kremlin is completely satisfied with the result of Obama's decision. And this is the merit of Europe, including. Europe again began to actively destroy the national culture in the United States, Europe took an openly left course, abandoning Reagan's policies.

The fundamental reason for the weakening of the United States in Europe was the creation of the European Union. Europe is now only afraid of the US military power, which is not yet fully under the control of the left. Europe itself has an insignificant military potential, it has many restrictions under the current UN treaties, but if things go on like this, they will grow stronger and simply throw American bases out of Europe, and America is turning into a rag on which even the Taliban wiped their feet.

NATO's forces should be used, among other things, to contain Europe. It was originally a fiction, and this is exactly the role NATO played, according to post-war plans. Otherwise, Europe would have long been militarized. It was a fiction, just a pretext for the presence of American troops in Europe.
The real meaning of NATO is the occupation of Europe to prevent leftism and totalitarianism.

NATO is capable of facing the Russian military threat without us
Without the United States, NATO is not capable of anything at all, except to conclude a same-sex marriage between two soldiers.
In Europe, there is no professional army at all, there is only a six-month internship for conscripts, something like a holiday camp for boy scouts.

of facing the Russian
The opposition between the Kremlin and Europe is also an absolute fiction. The Kremlin is leading Russia in line with leftist European values. There are the principles of Roman law, European humanism towards criminals, the rights of citizens to self-defense are limited, the carrying of weapons is prohibited, moratorium on the death penalty, and there is no professional army. For the sake of populism, the Kremlin adheres to the right rhetoric, but in fact there is a purely leftist policy, and there are not even right forces, the current government center-left, and the opposition is far-left.
There are no restrictions on homosexuality, there are no penalties for the appearance of men in stockings in playgrounds and so on. From the point of view of history, the Kremlin also adheres to Eurocentrism, they praise the "window to Europe" and the like.
Economically, they are also focused on Europe, especially Germany.
This is an absolutely Euro-oriented and de facto anti-American policy.
Only Eastern Europe is not held in high esteem, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungaria, Bulgaria, they try not to remember these countries.

Germany is currently the most dangerous for the United States. This is a very high-tech country, probably the second in the world after the United States, it costs them nothing to quickly create high-tech weapons, and the left in Germany is already openly talks for the scenario of an alliance with Russia as a union of technologies and resources against US power.
And recently it seems to have removed Mein Kampf from the list of prohibited literature.
