The idealization of the disastrously corrupt, divisive, incompetent and racist Obama administration. That led to the coronation of his fellow crooked Chicago machine politician Hillary.

The fantasy that A) Trump will be impeached and B) Pence will be more to their liking/easier to beat.

This country needs a credible counter-balance to Republicans and the current Democratic party is not it.

What can be done about this problem?

An agenda from either party can be distorted or badly constructed or poorly implemented and endanger the republic.

What's endangering the republic for sure right now is that both ends have chosen party over country.

CDZ or politics but the degree of dysfunction has to be stated and not many, if any, sane observers would describe the democratic party's dysfunction in a materially different way.

I guess some of us are too biased to even say, "this tax plan is better because of these three points, A, B, C". Or perhaps we get lazy typing on tablets and phones and just yell names at eachother

Not just names but titles that the Ds have taken for themselves using slightly more likeable synonyms:

"Social Justice" has the exact same tenants as Lenin's dictatorship of the proletariat but "Social Justice" polls better than Marxist.

Fixing the problem and corruption have the same meaning in DC usage.

And so on therefore not name calling names but calling BS just that you just prefer polite lies while you are screwed.
