Soccer looks like it might be fun to play, but the perverse thing about it (from an American perspective) is that the higher the quality of play, the lower the scoring. During 95% of the time of any World Cup match, nothing could possibly happen (other than an injury) that could have any impact on the result of the game.

You could show the highlights of the entire World Cup in five minutes, with time allowed for commercials.

And any sport that prohibits the use of the hands and arms is stupid.
