ISIS inside Baghdad, will Obama ramp it up?

Many Sunnis in Iraq will help ISIS. They've been abused by the U.S. Shiite Puppet Government for years. This is what the Iraq War has unleashed. It's ugly Blow Back. Haven't we done enough damage over there? Maybe it is time to withdraw from the Middle East?

That government was democratically elected.

Still U.S. Puppets. The Sunnis have been given good reason to support ISIS.

We could always help evacuate the Christians and other minorities from Iraq, and support Kurds in holding onto what they can. If things turn that bad. Though so far at least the US government has helped avert large scale genocide, which ISIS attempted a while back.

One thing you have to give the Libertarian element. They are not afraid to unequivocally state what they want Obama or the US to do or not do.

Alleged right wingers, on the other hand, would rather rip off their own jawbone than state what they would like Obama or the US to do about ISIS or the Middle East or Iran or any other foreign policy matter. They will do flips and twists to avoid doing so.

Any jackass can criticize what the other guy is doing. It takes balls to offer up a plan, and these pessimistic whiny bitches are sorely lacking.
Fuck you. I have firmly stated on MANY occasions on this forum what we should be/should have done.

Bombing Toyotas & vacant buildings was not part of my idea.

I gave my support to Obama from day one when he announced his decision. If he wants to keep that support he needs to make good on his plan. You know, decimate & destroy ISIS. FOURTEEN bombs a day is a god damn joke.
Actually the strategy is degrade and destroy. It is how we fight wars today, especially Iraq. Bush 41 and 43 both used the strategy until 43 veered off the page and decided to create an occupation force. Degrade comes before destroy. Destroying will take ground troops. At the present time the composition and abilities of those ground troops are unknown and various groups are being trained and equipped. The first part of the strategy, the degrade part is going slow because an abundance of caution to prevent losses and collateral damage are being taken. It's a good thing unless you prefer dead and beheaded airmen and civilian casualties. Whatever ground forces are used will be grateful for the degradation part of the strategy.
Pull your head out of your ass. WTF are we degrading? Their automobiles? They're vacant buildings? 14 bombs a day isn't degrading a damn thing. It is however insuring that we leave enough of a sour taste in their mouth that they do everything they can to target us

ISIS has the manpower & money to be a HUGE problem for the entire world.

Plan A. Sit idly by as that power grows exponentially and requires hundreds of thousands of troops from multiple nations to deal with.

Plan B. Pretend Hitler never existed & that lesson was never learned.

Plan C. Piss them off even more by droping bombs on trucks which essentially does nothing but make the next truck in line have a slight detour.

Plan D. If you're gonna bomb them, FUCKING BOMB THEM. Decimate them. Level the fucking desert every time they try to traverse it. Weaken them so badly that the cowardly locals can finish them off.

Not nearly the threat you perceive them to be. Their numbers are very small. They have very little, if any advanced weapon capabilities. And they don't have an Air Force or Navy. With all the Taxpayer $Billions spent on Iraq's Military, it should be a massacre. The Iraq Military should have no problem wiping ISIS out.

If they weren't the threat I think they are they wouldn't be capturing city after city. And in case you missed it 9/11 proved you don't need high tech weaponry to devastate a nation.

We need to come home. We've done enough damage over there. There were virtually no Terrorist Groups in Iraq and the region before we invaded Iraq. We made ISIS possible. It's time to get the hell out of there.

Still, they're not nearly the threat you perceive them to be. They can and likely will be wiped out. But regardless, our involvement needs to come to an end. Let the Peoples of the region sort their problems out.

WTF??
Tell this to the now over TEN THOUSAND PEOPLE they have killed, and soon to reach TWENTY THOUSAND seriously injured.
Yeah...just a couple ragheads running around firing AK's in the air. No more.
Holy Shit

The Extremists were on lockdown in the Middle East. And that was especially true in Iraq. Our invasion helped the Radicals immensely. There was relative stability in the region before the Iraq War. We've done enough damage. The Iraq Military has been given $Billions in Tax Dollars, and now have the most advanced Military capabilities. They should be able to handle ISIS. But if they can't, than so be it. They have to fall.

I've already explained. Its numbers are few, it has little if any advanced weapons capability, and it has no Air Force or Navy. We've poured $Billions in Tax Dollars into the Iraq Military. They are now one of the most advanced Militaries on earth. They should be able to handle ISIS. And if they don't, so be it. They'll have to fall. But our involvement needs to end. It's their show now.

No doubt the 2nd Iraq war was handled extremely poor and stupidly. No one can argue with that, at least I hope not.
We should be giving no one any $$ or a single freaking weapon. I agree.
But to bury our heads in the sand and watch a fanatical/growing SERIOUSLY well financed militants take over whole regions of the M.E. would be no less stupid.

Bush prosecuted a just war horribly until after the surge. Dismantling the army has proven to be a huge mistake as well. Having said that the country was stable until Obama played semantics in order to pull ALL troops out of the region before they were stable enough to withstand outside influences.

And by stable Iraq I mean that Saddam was killing thousands instead of ISIS. The result is the same it's just that now liberals can blame America with the revisionist history.

Let the fucking Iraqis 'ramp it up'.
Obama broke it. Let Democrats fight ISIS.

Obama didn't break anything. We spent billions on the Iraqi army, now they won't fight.
Obama has been Commander in Chief for almost 6 years. He wanted the job. Obama broke Iraq. Time to grow up and accept responsibility.

I don't take advice from retards. Iraq is no longer any of our business, and really, never was.

I have an idea! Why not close Gitmo and send the remaining hard core prisoners to.............................. Syria? OOPs, according to the news, Obama beat me to that idea today. Just brilliant.

Who is financing them? That's a very interesting question. The answer to that question is too disturbing for average Americans to confront. So they just ignore it completely. ISIS didn't just magically appear with all that cash & weapons. They got it from someone. But regardless, they're still just a small ragtag gang of Terrorist nutters. The Iraq Military should be able to handle them. Let them sort it out. It's time for us to get the hell out of there.

The Taliban in Afghanistan didn't have advanced weaponry when the USSR occupied them either. What's your point?
