Israel's military has said it will not order a criminal investigation into the bombing of a house in Gaza in the 2012 conflict which left 12 civilians dead.

Ten members of one family and two of their neighbours were killed on 18 November when the house they were in was hit by a missile.

The Israeli Defense Forces said that the deaths were "regrettable".

The ICC seems to be the place we need to seek justice for all Israel's civilian and child killings in Palestine. Just got to get rid of this corrupt PA first, I was reading a discussion somewhere indicating a case can be initiated by other groups or countries at the ICC for these crimes. But everyone keeps waiting for the PA to act, but they never do, because the fact is they are controlled by the US and Israel and are not even representing the interests of the Palestinian people.

Has anyone seen anywhere on the Internet where Frau Sherri is calling for the ICC to investigate the deaths of the thousands and thousands in the Syrian conflict? We read all the time of all those deaths by aerial bombings. Maybe since the Jews are not involved, it would be a waste of her time. Naturally we don't expect her to be interested in the deaths of people in other Muslim countries, such as Iran or Pakistan.

Off topic. This is the Israel and Palestine forum.

I'll remember that when you or any of your friends bring up the Liberty.

Or Jordanian prisoners.

The Liberty was attacked by Israel.

That is appropriate.

Evidently Tinnie and his like-minded pals feel that it is important for the Liberty accident to be brought up ten thousand times over the years because they run out of things with which to bash Israel, but of course they omit the fact that since the Liberty accident their Muslim friends have murdered thousands and thousands. By the way, Tinnie, how about Vietnam constantly being brought up? You seem to have no objections to that even though Vietnam has nothing at all to do with what is happening these days.

You are the one who brought it up.

And besides, there was never an impartial investigation.

Are you really that dense, Tinnie? The only reason I mentioned the Liberty in this instance is because you and others like you have brought it up thousands of times in forums over the years. If you want to think the investigation was never impartial, that it your prerogative. Ten thousand investigations wouldn't satisfy you if the results were the same.

There is too much that does not pass the smell test.

As I said, Tinnie, you can believe what you want to believe. However, many retired Naval personnel who were in the service of that time believe it was an accident. You could always leave your magic computer and fight it out with them.

"Most of those killed were civilians, according to UN figures..."

"Among them was Mohamed Dalou, a Hamas policeman, nine members of his family - including four children - and their two neighbours"

Of course, what Israel most regrets is its inability to purge Palestine of all non-Jews.

Of course, what Israel most regrets is its inability to purge Palestine of all non-Jews.

There are 2 million non-Jews among the 8 million residents of Israel proper, as well as 3-4 million non-Jews in the territories, so they are doing a bad job of purging. I love to watch all the different Christian denominations in Jerusalem.

What about all the refugees and their descendants living outside Palestine?

"UNRWA's services are available to all those living in its area of operations who meet this definition, who are registered with the agency and who need assistance. UNRWA's definition of a refugee also covers the descendants of persons who became refugees in 1948. The number of registered Palestine refugees (RPR) has subsequently grown from 914,000 in 1950 to approximately 12 million in 2013."

Both the events you mentioned would likely not have happened either absent a Jewish State in the heart of Arab oil.
Well, Georgie Boy, many people would not have been murdered since the 600's A.D. if only the Arabs would have stayed on the Saudi Peninsula and not invaded the surrounding countries. Too bad the Arabs didn't realize that had all that oil then and would have been satisfied with that.
